1 first rumor was clamped classes well here is skippy on that.

Okay so one of the rumors about clamped classesis a rumor it will beclamped at regional and finals to make sure amps are right not to determine classes... So i like that idea as long as it doesn't add 3 hours to the show and usaci has the man power to do it... Good job and effort.. Only thing is cheaters will find a way to hide an amp you cant clamp im sure cheaters will always figure a way...
2 the other harsh rumor was no more prostock.

IT IS A RUMOR . It will be allowed to remove panels in ext cab trucks as well as back seat so they can play as long as below window line.... Thats kewl too should also mae it to where vans with half walls can join too..... Good in my book as well

3. Is that they are not going to have unlimitted anymore .... grrrr

i am actually glad you made that post charlse because i was asked the othernight what i thought your true intentions or worries were, and the only thing i could come up with was that you were feeling pressure because people are starting to surpass you in what you have done. now dont get mad at me for that man because im going to use your own words as examples here

1. but pinky did a 161 or so with 2 pd 2000.1s and a 163 with 2 rd d5
2. personlly just thought the power and scores are getting rediculous for the amount of power your SUPPOSED to have.

I told you on th phone last sat night that was kinda hypochritical because you guys jumped all my xd3000's and had them tested and somehow they came out to be over 600@4, but i also told you i had used 2 of kollers pd2000's at lawton on the same setup, and the pd2000's were louder.

I have and will always like you man your competitive as hell just like methats why me and you talking about this on the phone wasnt working you didnt wanna hear what i had to say i didnt wanna hear what you had to say so it was a wash lol.

the key thing that made me think you were feeling overshodowed was when you used kumars score against biguns at finals kumar is the only non estes built van in mod winning beside the one that won mod unlmtd this year.

the way i see as long as the pd2000's and treos were the amps getting it done there wasnt an issue now some of us are getting it done with some other companies product we have an issue.

Wow, Fuses are important pieces to have but if our van ever catches fire, run cuz there arent any in it

What would ppl say if instead of clamped pwr we do a higher ohm load rating? Nothing even that drastic.. Just from 4ohm to 2ohm.. This way the power becomes less which = less expensive.. The "hunt for the best amp" is still there (WHICH IS ALOT OF WHAT COMEPETING IN USACI IS ABOUT).. USACi has been a rated pwr forever.. Clamped pwr is a MWSPL thing and it is working for that org.. But with that said if everyone wanted clamped pwr don't you think everyone would go play over there? Ppl do USACi bc you have no amplifier limitations as long as its rated for that correct class.. With the way the economy is today I agree we all need to do someting to make it easier for new guys to compete.. The top dogs are gonna stay on top no matter what happens.. That's just food for thought..

my input on that is local class is for those not experienced or lacking funds, and sb also my guys in sb1 this year had maybe 1800 in his total system and took 2nd place

i was meaning the ratings for the national level.. But at the same time someone wanting new wanting to compete at Finals could afford to be in the smallest class... Right now the smallest stock class cost 600-800 bucks for the amp dependin where you buy it from.. Like I said though it was just food for thought.. We thought it was a better idea than clamped pwr.. but maybe not..

THE SMALLEST CLASS ISNNT WON BECAUSE OF THE AMP BEING USED THIS IS WHERE COMPETITORS WOTHOUT KNOWLEDGE ARE LOST THE AMP IS MEANINGLESS 0-600 STOCK LOSES MAYBE .2 TENTHS WHILE BURPING WHILE MOT EVERYONE ELSE LOSES 2-3V

I'd have to disagee with you when you say the amp is meaningless in 0-600.. you need to have the M3 or cactus 600, or 200.1 etc to be competitive in that class..

I think the idea of going to a 1ohm ratting would help let people use other amps and not threaten the chance of a currently available amp putting up to much power. could be a "all of us meet in the middle" thing??

PERSONALY I never have run only run the 0-600 amp in my rex... My buddy Belanger ran the cactus 600 though in 2 marathons.. I wanna say his V-drop was around 11.6 though.. Not exactly sure..

I agree with that too BUT you can't take any amp in 0-600 and be competitive.. Don't care who builds the car or what batts however many strands they wanna have, it don't matter.. The amp is a BIG part of 0-600

but when u say that amp doesn't matter in 0-6 I dont believe that.. NO matter which batt you use the Kicker 1200 will NOT beat the Cactus 600, the d5, 200.1, 4.1, M3, so on and so on.. thats my arguement.. If i could afford the cactus 9000 I would get it for sure... but like me many ppl can't afford that..

THE KICKER 1200 IS ALSO RATED AT 300@4 WICH MEANS THEORETICLY YOU CAN RUN 2 OF THEM TO EQUSAL 1 D5 /4.1/PF600

ILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER EXAMPLE JEFF ROWLAND 12 12'S/14 BATTS/2 BD DRIVE AMPS BURPED 166.4

BIGUN 24 BATTS 4 18'S SAME AMPS 165.7 (BIGUN HAD ISSUES IM TOLD)

SO LESS BATTS SAME AMPS YEILDED A HIGHER NUMBER WICH ALSO MEANS THEY HAD LESS POWER TOTAL DUE TO THE BATTS YOU STILL CONFUSED MAN
