| What I dont understand is how you were a judge at usaci finals TJ, and didnt even have a clue as to the fact that all old world records with the exception of flashdance, were up for grabs one last time.
We had alot of thoughts of bringing the civic to break the 301-900 record, but was more concerned with attempting roberts record, which I had equipment problems so I never went for it.
Now on to the fact that you seam to think we are all "sponsered" I am a pro stock competitor, so frankly it wouldnt matter if I was or wasnt, but the truth is, I spent upwards of $7000 on equipment before I was even asked to be on the team. This year I have also invested another $2000+ into equipment to test, and working on my car already.
There is so much more I would love to go into, but im gonna let this one die, before it gets really deep in here

| wasnt basic stock one battery and your box could only be up to the strut tower and with panels in or something like that, i cant remeber for sure so just asking, or am i on crack again, didnt compete that much that year so i cant remember but im pretty sure basic stock was something like that in 03, maybe it changed after that, or i could be totally wrong and on crack again, if so thats a hell of a number on one battery with limited space |

| That basic stock rule wasnt put in place till 05, and the records that where all held where held with the old rules, not the behind the strut tower rule. and when the record was set itwas one battery, Mike D verified it. |

| If i'm not mistaken, Pro stock, Modified, and SuperMod....anybody was allowed to run those classes. Superstock was for competitors who DID NOT have any affiliation with any car audio store or manufacturer, AND TRUST ME, I'M SURE ABOUT THAT. Now Stock, hmm, I clearly remember sitting in a members meeting...I was voicing my thoughts to allow veteran members to run basic stock. For a few reasons, any and everybody helps these first year competitors anyways so never truly was a newbie's class in the first place. What made it unique and challenging was being competitive with one battery, so why not open the class to anybody, (with the exception of those who fall into the Pro category). But Ralph was adamant with the class rules and their intentions. It was a class designed to bring in new members and in no way shape or form were there to be ANY second year competiors. I think this is what TJ is referring to.
I'm a little confused as the whats goin on here. I doubt Bruce ran for a class he wasnt qualified for unless he was told he was, especially after seein my whole ordeal with the SS pro thing. At the same time i'm not sure why USACi was letting veterans run for records in all the basic classes?

PS: This post helped me make up my mind Robert, every time some heated discussion comes up about stock or prostock these days you "suggest" that "the truck" is coming back. I'm not trying to start anything with you personally, you know I respect what you've done with your truck, and actually would love to see it back in the lanes.....but cmon man...just tell us what you are going to do with it, make the announcement and quit playin with our heads So what's it gonna be ...mod in the truck like you told Seth or a stock or prostock class? Inquiring minds wanna know

| Thats what i said Tim...but all those WRs where set prior to 05 before those rules where in effect. all in all. the records should have been re set when they changed the rules. and they never should have got rid of the biggest class....just open it up |
