| How happy i am that i brought the 9.0 first over the 6.0.
600w doesnt help much anymore. I guess its back to the drawing board to do a hw 5.0 instead.

they are for at least one more year. I didn't see any problem with them. Competitors and manufacturers were starting to get used to them. Plus it costs competitors and manufacturers money to keep changing. It isn't broke!!!!!!!!
If you are going to change anything, change the way you place amps in your classes. Rate the amps based on MAX POWER!!!!!!! Support the industry, Retailers, and competitors!!!!! Make Usaci much easier to compete in. All any and all amps to be competitive in Usaci. All manufacturers sell amps based on MAX POWER. No one walks into an Audio store asking what the rating is at 4 ohms. They want to know what the MAX POWER IT DOES!!!!!!! MAX POWER MAX POWER MAX POWER
Allow any and all amps to be competitive. Kicker, JL, Rockford, DD, American Bass, Pyramid, Legacy, DB Drive, Cactus, etc., etc., etc., Gain back the manufacturers support by allowing their amps to be competitive in USACI.
Ralph, You have a test bench to test for power at 4,2,1,.5 ohm. YOU CAN TEST FOR MAX POWER.
Again, AMPS ARE SOLD BY THEIR MAX POWER that they produce.
It's that simple. Ask any amp manufacturer who would be opposed to this rating system. I'm sure it would be 0!

They are going to change the power classes anyways. It's simple. 0-1000 Max power 1 or 2 amps 1000-2000 Max power 3 amps 2000-4000 Max power 4 amps 4000+ Besides the dB numbers are getting pretty rediculous. 160dB in all classes. Not many local kids can do near a 160, so they don't show up to finals. Low power is much more impressive to me. Anyone can do big numbers with lots of power. It's common sense if you add power you are going to do higher numbers. Why not let the number you do come down to the most efficient system, and the build????

I mean i guess it would help....but i dont see it happening In stock 0-600, we did over 160 db with the same exact subs that were used last year, and basically the same amp. (M3 vs PF600). All we did was built a more efficient system. We did not add any power!!!!!!!!!!!! It's much more challenging and rewarding.

| ill get dawged out here but your the only one on here trying to get the classes changed back or amps to max ratings the majority dont seem to have an issue with what it is now except for the battery limitations. want max rating there is a org for that its called db drag, wana put limittions on powern nd govern it well you have midwestspl. This is USACI where we go by 4 ohm ratings this is our montra so to say so im not thinking this will be a good idea at all. | |

| Actually, drag doesn't have a limit on power. They have a limit on amps used tho. They also go by number of subs used.
Just clarifying. | |
