well i see your point but there are rules inplace we have to go bye them and that is that. if you cant beat a crx then save your money and buy a car like a civic hatchback they have just alittle more room then the crx are just go buy a crx i seen the same thing to. i know if a crx pulls up at the comp im worried what class he is in cuz he will be 150plus. we just have to adjust to it and but a bass car like everyone else did. ok

Wow, you seem to forget that there are quite a few people out there in the low 150's in a trunk car. In street beat 1 and 2 I dont see any advantage a CRX would have, it might have some....but we are coming close to the scores in SB 1 in a trunk car, with everything in the trunk, and all the panels in.

yea but in the end you will never see 155plus in a trunk car anf i seen 3 ten do 155.5 in a crx and some cvx600 rms tens so i think crx will do all the winning most of the time no all cuz a gmc jimmy could beat a crx there are other car that can win not a trunk car.

why not stop bitching about the crx if we had panda's here you would deffinately cry abut them for they are the superior car not the crx hti has been proven many times over and an s10 has the ability to beat the snot out of a crx also seen an s10 last year almost do a 164 and it could have but a 163 is the most a crx has done to date

so why not stop snivling over a car and start working on yours you have no idea of what your car can do untill you actually get down and dirty with it as far as copying everyone elses set-up there are some that dont

It would be cool to see an open trunk class rules could be simple too, all equipment in the trunk batts amps subs etc. make it open to all trunk classes. sounds fun to me

i believe saman on the s10 they are able to to beat a crx. thats the battle s10 are crx. who would be the last won standing as foe flatline i would love to see trunk car like streetbeat all the same rules but all amp and subs batt, in the trunk only high amp can be in the front under the seat not the bass amps now that would be fun

My idea was that by making all the equip. in the trunk you would have to figure out what more important

alot of batts=no room for woofer/s
big woofers = no room for amps
lot of amps = no room for batts

If this was a class (open Trunk class) I bet you would find a lot of scores no matter diff. in equip. would be very very close besides everyone says in a trunk car you hit a peak/wall at 155.0

you should be ok with having a high amp in front takes power though to run that amp less spl.

wow what a post. well I will clear this up for some that dont know. I have a rex and got 2nd at finals in 06 and in 05 I got 2nd in a explorer beating crxs and minis doing a 154+ with one batt in 0-300. at every show I only used half of my stuff 1 xs100 (1246rms) and 2 12s doing a 151+. yes crxs and s-10s are the cars to have but do what you can with what you got.if you work hard you can hang with them. using other cars someone might find something as good if not better. I know my explorer was daaamn good on the dash better than my rex and my brothers. but there is one thing you need to ask your self is this for you try it out if you like it buy the right tools a termlab and the right box with wheels for your set up and start working your butt off.

Wow, I wasnt gonna get in to this...but now I am! You little poop talker who wont put his real name out there! Name the car, name the class and im sure most of the CRX guys would gladly come whoop your Gluteus Maximus in that too. I spent close to an entire year working on my CRX to get it where it was at world finals, and yes I worked weeks to get a couple tenths.

And guess what I still got beat at finals by a non CRX!

We built a trunk car that does almost exactly what our old basic stock CRX did at world finals 2 years ago.

well if were going to do crx class, then i want a special class for my crx, i'll be in the red crx with 107,000 miles class, dont worry though next year i'll move up classes to the red crx with 112,000 miles class

I'll be in the doesn't have a CRX, doesn't have any equipment class.
