| So does that exclude say Telarc cd's ? Since the only place I have been able to find there cd's that I like are online.
Not saying I would use them at this point, due to not haveing the longest beats, but I love there electronic classical work.

| So Mac, Snap-on, and Matco aren't tools because you can't buy them at a store.
My suggestion is to allow each judge at the events to use his discretion, if the song is nothing but a long bass note the judge can tell him he'll have to use a different song. Simple.
Banning certain artists and using this criteria will do nothing but send USACi on wild goose chases week after week searching for cd's at Best Buy, Walmart, ect.

| I think that alot of people has missed the meaning of street beat. It was started to bring new people to USAC, right? Music choice is not going to fix anything. The classes is the issue. It does not matter what disc you play. If you put a kid that just got 2 12" subs on 500 watts in a trunk car that wants to see what he is going to do against a competitor that has done this for years with a CRX with 2 12"s on over 2500 watts, chances are, that kid will not be coming back. Don't take my word for it though, just watch the next time a kid new to car audio comes to a show, then see if you see him again at the next one after that. | |

I like the new rule Sounds to me like something is wrong then. Doesn't it to you? USAC needs to get the word out. The only way USAC is going to grow it to get more people to compete. I don't know about you all, but I would be trying to get more and more people to join USAC and even leave "Brand X" to join. Let people know that USAC does street beat as well as SPL and SQ. Am I the only one that sees it this way?

| Ok. :/ Thanks. Use to be able to buy them at one of those, but not being popular like the other types of music, they gave up on selling them. I will just use it for demos then. | |

Am I the only one that sees it this way? Well to the local competitor that doesnt have a mic to test song for song, he'd have and easier time winning by just entering SPL portion...and run a sweep USACI is the biggest sound org...they dont need to grow...they are the biggest, im sure theyd get just as many competitors without SB than if they had it...maybe not at finals but local and what not sure

We usually don't turn it up at local shows! But we bring the heat to finals. And leave with mud on our shoes or boots. U dig?

| Will Pink Flyodd still be legal? I don't want to have to look for a new track. Any chance of this group being banned for streetbeat? I don't want to be called a cheater for the track I use. And I'm not joking, I am totally serious. | |

| Mike, thats exactly my point, Ralph thinks he can just ban songs or cds with long bass tones but that will be a never ending tast. What about actual music, as stated, that has long bass guitar notes? This is a can of worms man, let the street beaters play whatever they want as long as it's commercially available, and a song, and exclude test tracks, sine waves, ect. | |

| Strangely though, this isn't a problem for us in Wi. The only problem I have is people wanting to use burned cds because that's what they have. I feel bad when I have to tell them no, go find a "real" cd. It's not like any of our competitors are enhancing there cds. It's just what they have in the car. I really do use Pink Floyd though. | |
