| To get more people at finals you will need to get rid of the termlab. If people know they can't win they will be pussies and stay home. | |

| Ok.. well im pretty sure I've built enough boxes and cars to know that it don't take $400a in wood to make a s10 box.. all thread is not anywhere near $100(im a warehouse manager at a fastener supplier) and maybe if you go to bestbuy and get dynamat extreme at full retail you MAYBE can spend 1000?.. not 1500.. | |

| I know it would be a \"Female dog\" to do but clamped power would be the easiest way to get new people and also make possible to run any companies equipment like I said it would be a pain in the ass but it would get rid of the "he has more power" Dung Pile and get down to who can build would also open up more vehicles to be able to use also just my.02 | |

| my .02, i do think we need smaller classes like we used to. I have been helping a few guys try to get into it, and when i told them that 0-600 was based on 4ohm rating, and explained how much power some guys are really using in 0-600 they shy'd away from competing because its intimidating how high the bench marks have been set, we need some little classes again. this would make things more affordable and get more people in, not everyone can afford the $500 alternators and batteries needed to push the monster amps you can have in the entry level classes. Also, i agree with statements made about using other brands of amps, i would like to use other amps that would fit into power classes without other amps obviously being dominant amps
The bar needs to be lowered some, that is all.

| youcan change the class power limits, and companies will bring out amps that still do 4 times that power you see this is there the main problem is and im glad you actually brought it up
d5 my testing 500@4 8600@.25 on 17v d9 900@4 10.5k@.22 on 17v cactus pf600 600@4 8400@.22 on 17v ab 200.1 500@4 6600@.25 on 17v treo 4.1 500@4 8400ish@.22 on 17v
now how did i find all this out you may ask well because i didnt buy just one amp, and settle i bought an amp tested it got a number wrote it in a log and sold it or traded for the others wheeling and dealing will teach you more about amplifiers, and setups than a keybord

| As long as there is classes built off a "rating" we will have to buy amps from thr one manufacture who wants to cater to those classes. Great for one company. Bad or usaci | |

Yea, i would like to try some Sundown amps, but unless its a top teir class with unlimited power, then they don't make an amp that fits very well into classes. Although one of the sundown reps told me about an amp called NS1 (i think) that is coming out, says it will be a top contender in the 0-600 class once its available. Also sanman, I know you test your amps differently than I would, but I hope to get some power like you are seeing out of my PF600.1, so far i have only clamped a little under 2,500 out of it, but i have some God awful voltage drop issues at the moment.

That's what i was thinking, this amp starts growing nuts below 1Ω, right now my dc resistance is .35Ω and i'm rising to right at 1Ω impedance.

All the sb vehicles I have seen are mods playing music. SB should be for the everyday guys to get their feet wet in this sport. i am not a pro and my vehicle isnt a mod build! only mod cars i see running sb are in sb3 and up there are a few that have boxes that go above the window line but most can still do close to the same # below.

2010 HAD 30 COMPETITORS SPREAD THOUGHOUT THE MOD CLASSES I DONT THINK WE HAD 15 THIS YEAR
15/4=3 PER CLASS AND THATS Cow poopy.
LOOK PEOPLE ITS NOT GETTING ANY BIGGER, AND YOU SHOULD EARN A TROPHY AT FINALS NOT BE GIVEN ONE JUST BECAUSE YOU ENTER A CLASS. one big reason there 30 cars in mod and 15 in 2011 was the judge , you didn't have a judge placing people in mod for just any reason.
