is there a big difference in having the port extend out of the box as opposed to inside the box when it comes to slot ports, or is it just to save space due to port displacement? I have not seen a big difference, but I may not be doing things right.
Thanks

I put the aero ports all the way out so it is a easier line do feed the port. I picture it like a hvac system. If you put a fan ware the subs are ware is the air going to accumulate most. If the port is off the inside wall of the box air will still come out but some can hang up in the corners.

in my old crx it had a lot to do with sub and port placement. if i ran the port internal i would have to move the box back and that lowered my score.

Had to compensate a bit on the last box. Built it, 2 cuft per sub, with slot port for each, 3x15x6. Have the port and subs facing up off the hatch.
We'll see what it does at Longmont tomorrow. Hopin for over 151.3 or better.
Also made it so port lenght can be adjusted longer if needed.
