Trunks only class next year?

First topic message reminder :

Just trying to get an idea from fellow competitors if they think USACi should do a trunks only class next year. Same power classes, but the cars have to have trunks... What do you think?

I see a trunk class used in more then one org, so to say it is stealing from just one isn't the case if that is what you want to call it.

Outlaw has been used by this org for as long as I remember. You started something 2yrs ago ? That I can completely understand as being a no no.

This is a local org that is growing and we will not copy what the other orgs or doing I garantee it

They do have other orgs that have trunk classes to so TBP your not the only one!!!

I think its a good idea. Look how many new compeditors SB brought in. Those classes were packed all year and again at finals!!
Stock Trunk 12 V 0-3000 and 3000+
Pro Trunk 16V 0-3000 and 3000+
You would only be adding 4 more classes. We could do away with port wars really... I never really understood the point in that class anyways. And limit prostock and stock down to 3 power classes instead of 4 = better competition anyways !!

Trunk 0-3000 thats a big range in power I think too big!

You cant make too many more power classes than 4 new or it will NEVER happen. Maybe 0-2000 is better...

I like that idea Meghan. Sorry I missed you guys this year, I'll be back out next year though. Hopefully in the trunk class

i would say looks like 2-12's tuned extremely low, say low to mid 30 range

2 12's burps at 44hz. also sounds good(the impact from some rock songs is stupid) does a little more then 53's now

two classes 16v and 12v trunk only sounds awesome.. but must actually have a trunk.. dont want the magic cars to find this class

I love it but agree must be trunk no hatch etc but I say 16v whatever system just must be in trunk. Follow the b pillar rule only use the backseat area instead of b pillar

should be all equipment must be in the trunk thats amps extra bats and of coarse the box. and seat must fold up.

I think their should be a trunk class, 12v and 16v. all equipment in the trunk.

Why not break up every class than, SUV, hatch, trunk, truck

i just think there should be a trunk class you are going to bring in alot of consumers based off of that class because of the average american having a trunk car that wants a system. they are going to look and see how loud these cars get and realize hey maybe i can do that to ....... o and yes everything must be in the trunk i like that part too... and can not break the fold up seat just like the b pillar rule

grandams will walk this class there is ure majik car

i know sombody in high 50,s with a trunk with only 4 10s and 3000watts rms

not a grand am though
