| I would say after the stock titles, its pointless to be stock again, Same Dung Pile we heard. Move up. Let some new blood get in the stock classes. | |

| Nope, not at all. Im just decided what class will be best for me to be in this year, yours sounds good, lots of potential comp, and not cost too much money, well at least not as much 1801+ or 3001+. |

| well i cant say i totally disagree with you guys on moving to prostock, for me its always been a money thing though, i have ran the exact same amps and batts for 3 yrs now, with stock alt, heck to of the years i ran the exact same box and woofers
so stock 2 batts x 300 vs ps 10 batts x 300 minimum, plus 16v alternator or charger, thats another 350+ so for me its always been not want to spend 3500 on batts/alt/charger vs just staying with the same ones i've had for 3 years that only cost 600
so in a money aspect its was good for me, but i think it should just be 12v / 16v too, and maybe cut a class out of 12v to have 3 12 and 3 16v, get more competitors in each class
the days of having 10 competitors minimum are gone for at least a while, maybe forever, so lets adjust and combine some classes to get the numbers back up per class for now, then later if need be we can add more classes
i havent upgraded amps in 3 years either, sure i got the 40's, but always have run the mmats at finals but we shall see what happens to the crx this yr |

Pro anything is right!, after 3 stock championships it's time to move on to the Pro level. The rules may not require such a move, but ethically?...come on...pro should be a no brainer, well?...at least until USACi drops the "Pro" prefix and puts a more accurate description on the classes... (possibly stock12v and stock16v ) I think most of us are in agreement that there is little that distinguishes a "pro" competitor from a stock competitor. Other than voltage limitations, they require similar skill levels to be competitive. But, for now, we regard "Pro" (cough) as a class in which veterans and those with higher skill levels should reside and compete...so step up!!!!

| You won't save much on batteries by going pro 0-600 vs any other pro class. You'll still need atleast 8 kinetiks or equivalent batteries, heck we would have used more last year if they would have fit right. You'll also use anywhere from 6 to 10 subs depending on if you run 10's or 12's so you won't save any money there either. Only way you'll save cash by running a lower prostock class is the savings on amplifiers since you can only run one. But the top amps in that class aren't cheap either LOL. So I see Chad's point. STOCK IS MUCH CHEAPER.
A competitor shouldn't have to spend a ton more money just because his peers feel he should "step up to the next level" Makes no sense to me. Maybe this is why we keep losing competitors instead of keeping the guys we have.
I agree with what others have said. Make it 12volt and 16volt, have it open to all competitors and have fun.

| actually...it would be cheaper to buy 16v batteries as they are cheap. and he will only need three subs chris lol...and ur correct about the having to step up. need to get rid of pro and stock. | |

| he would need to buy multiple 16volt batteries was my point which equals more money out of pocket. No matter how cheap they can be found. In stock you don't have ability to run as many batts as possible in most classes. As for the subs... I assume he's running a truck? If so, didn't know that so you're right. But good 15's that'll handle decent power aren't cheap either. | |
