Finals Entry Fee

What is everyones take on an extra $25.00 but this will include Electric?

Leave it seperate

I like it, what amp is the service is the question

shouldn't we know where finals is going to be first....

that will hurt the ones that share electric ,team mates pay for 1 electric and 4 cars can charge

I think you should lower the overall cost of the entry. It would be a huge step to charge 50.00 for the entry and it should include electric connection. The ecconomy is already tough why not step up and help out our fellow USACI Members who all in the middle of this ressestion. Even 75.00 per class would help out.

I'm not at all interested in paying a total of $50 for power since we enter 2 classes.

I'm not using 2x the power...

Keep it individual. It's not like y'all need something else to complicate things when trying to pay for entries and trying to get everything going.

How about electricity for free? That might be a deciding factor for some to go. Might have a bigger turnout.

If $25 is a make or break for someone....then they need to find another hobby...if even $50 is make or break for someone....

It's not a matter of make or break. I am sure everyone is looking at their expenses going to finals. Every penny counts..

The second class charge would be the same as it was before, you would not pay for power on a second or more class. Keep in mind nothing is in stone but I do have a verbal agreement with the facilities NO contract in hand as of now, but keep your fingers crossed I hope that this will work out I think if it could save you guys and gals (Jan) a few dollars I am all for it.

nobody referred to yall as anything...every year when finals location is brought up the guys from the MID-WEST want it in their back yard and CRY about it no matter where its moved...check the archives on this forum.....if someone is a real competitor they will travel wherever finals is held...as far as yall being the meat and potatoes reason for blahblahblah...you obviously haven't been around USAC long enough to know what strong is....the mid-west has plenty of great competitors and I wish everyone had that type of participation but don't get a cramp pating yourself on the back just because yall might be the majority....if you think this is so strong you might want to back up and look at the turnout over the last few years...so you SIR can come back form whatever fantasy world your lining in and join us in the real world...

tell you what I will in fact look over the participants of finals last year, and let you know exactly where the majority of the participants come from. There is a reason we have finals in the midwest, and its because the majority os from there so Usaci compensates them by trying to keep it centrally located so they continue to show up to finals. I have been around USACI since 2003 so I have a little time around this place. I do a hell of alot of traveling every year to shows, and I will contimue to do so. I took a general statement that was aimed at people from the midwest being cry babies, and fornicate yah I got offended. We had finals in Texas, and to be honest I thought finals was pretty small even smaller than what we had in Omaha, and that stunk also.

How the f can you compare finals being in Texas to every other finals when it was moved like 2 weeks before the event? ON TOP of that, we're in the middle of one of the worst economic crisis this nation has seen in like 20 years, possibly even well beyond that...

How everyone keeps getting off on saying these things WITHOUT saying the others is beyond me. I guess it just proves short sightedness.

well its easy we have an event, and the turn out sucked. Im not going to sit here and kiss up to anyone from Texas, and or someone with status hell Ive got that and dont expect anyone to kiss up to me all in fact i like the heated debates they get things brought out and accomplished.

Im willing to bet finals wont be in texas though so dont get all salty on that.
