Is there something in the air or something?....

I'm offshore and get this call--

"Baby, don't be mad or anything, BUT...(just love it when the conversation starts like that)...someone broke into the Escalade and the Mountaineer last night. They smashed the passenger side front window of the Escalade with our son's stroller, and stole my purse and phone. Broke the window-- although the driver's door was unlocked!! Then they went to your Mountaineer and broke the passenger's side front window of it with one of your butane bottles for the BBQ pit. The alarm went off, and they hauled azz."

Now we had to cancel all credit cards, debit cards, and close the checking account and reopen another. All of my sons' SS cards were in her purse as well as her driver's liscense, passport, and other stuff she deemed worthy of saving in there. BLAH Broke the damn windows!! FUKKERS

So much for security lighting around the house.

Just ranting. Hear me roar.

can i be jeff this time and ask why was her purse in the car when she wasn't?

I feel for you man. Too bad they never get caught. A good news article about what some people could or would do to a thief might deter others. I'd like to get my hands on the pricks who stole my stuff this weekend. I know it's happy wishful thinking but I shouldn't have to lock my car or worry about Dung Pile getting stolen, it's my stuff. You want some...get a job and buy your own. I work my ass off for the things I got.

We live in a small town where you don't lock your doors at night. It's a relatively safe place where armed robberies, rape or murder are never on someone's lips upon morning coffee. It just doesn't happen there.

I just guess these sneak thevies are everywhere.

I suppose it being Mardi Gras didn't help any. There was a parade that passed in front of our house last night. Mix alcohol with adolescense, and that's what you get.

I'm most pissed that they broke the damn windows. How much did it cost you to replace yours, Mike?

that Dung Pile sucks man. it happened to me too. give it a lil bit and you'll have a certain someone in here running there mouth. dont listen to em man. some people are stupid and lazy and are too dumb to work for there suff so they take yours

Mine weren't locked, I leave my keys in the car when we are on the hill. Too bulky in my pocket. The hill is in a town of maybe 1000 people or so. Cops come through the lots regularly to keep an eye out. I totally thought all my stuff would be safe. My in laws didn't lock their house ever until 9 years ago when my wife's car was stolen out of the driveway.
