| The class rules are very loosely enforced. Build it how you want to, they will let you run it. | |

| anyone do the 6 to 12 volt battery swap
i was told the 6 volt motor will take it. But they said a high amp battery would kill the motor faster. huh?? I will just fuse the motor then i guess
I thought the amps would allow you to drive longer i have extra motor so going to try 12 volts batt anyways

| I know with a BATCAP 800 it will run for about 2 hours at full speed, but the motors never had a problem. | |

| well i am going from 6 to 12 volt battery swap for the motor for more power maybe i will get the 12 volts for the motor to then just seems dumb to have small twelve volt with a big one too
I just do not understand how more amps can hurt the motor just seems like it would just make it run longer

| i put an additional 6 volt battery in my boys first jeep. I then wired a relay into it. I put a push button switch on the dash. When he pushed the switch it put the batteries in series and he took off. I did it because of the whole Fast and the Furious action ... so that was his Nitrous!
Eventually he just drove it with while holding the switch. It worked out just fine.
