| today at shreveport i was in my run 1001-2k mod and some how my rca's melted and shorted out. i know i got one of my ma 802's and possibly the other, but i have never had rca cables melt. also these were brand new out of the package kicker rca's. i think i also got my phoenix gold line driver and possibly the sub outs on the hu.
has anyone ever heard of this happening?
now there is one possiblity that i can think of and that is i had changed my box and subs out just before the run because i popped one of my ma x2 12's testing this morning. i could have cut one of the rca's with the edge of the box, but very unlikely since none of the edges should have been close to the wires.

| well this is a first for me. i don't need to complain since i did take first with a 151.2 but still that means now i have to either try to find another amp or see if ma can refurb it quick enough that i don't have that much down time.
also i had someone that wanted to buy my rex and i think if he can come up with enough money he can have it and i'll get something else that i can fit in better, like a van
