| Sound on wheels is interested!! I no longer live up in Denver. I am in the Springs now. So whoever lives closest should stop by their shop and talk to him one on one and not on the phone and share with him these emails and such. I know for a fact he told me that he wants to do a big event which includes sq and spl!! Cmon up Muhammed!!
Guys let me apologize for the posts in here that I posted. I spoke while I was upset and I should not have done that. I am glad that it brought everyone around here together though. Including Ralph haha. Sorry Ralph, its just I am real passionate about the sport and I just get frustrated. With your help I think we can get this done. Just one question though for ya big guy. Why does Jaffe just flat our refuse to do SQ? Have you talked to him about that? Does he understand that his decision on this has effected many competitors to not do SQ? If we truly want SQ to grow then this region needs SQ shows just like the rest of the country. Of course this is just my opinion. Not to ruffle any feathers of course. I am just asking questions here. Laterz guys.

| im not sure why jaffe doesnt do SQ and even thou i would love shows in the region im thinking the best approch would be to figure something new out for SQ here (an sq judge that only does the sq judging and lets mike do the rest or whatever) because if jaffe bottom line doesnt want to do sq theres no point in persuing making him do it. We just gotta figure something else out because no one should be forced to do something they dont want to especially since sq is so subjective i think we really need the judge to want to do it otherwise i dont think as a competitor i would even want to do it.... no point in spending my money IMO. | |

| There are few great candidates for judging SQ in this region!!!! I won't mention any names or anything! I too live in the Springs, but maybe we can take a road trip up there sometime and talk to them. Maybe give Ralph and the guys at USACI there number? Now that they are interested, let USACI sell it!!! | |

| Its approx an 11 hour drive for me from the Springs. I don't know, it would have to be a regional of sorts.
BTW, we now all about the dry heat up here in the high desert! Just not the same heat level you have!

| Well, the interest level would have to be high enough to make it a regional. But your most popular shows started out as regular shows that people enjoyed and grew from there. This process will probably have to start over to get to the regional level out west.
It's just not a realistic expectation for a show to be that level and 5 cars show up. That doesn't mean I wouldn't try to have a show, but it would have to be successful for a few years to get a regional status. Hmmm, the Cactus Classic does have a ring to it.

| Well since I just got a new vehicle I will have to start as soon as the mercury climbs out of the 40s for more than 3 hours a day. But I am down for any Colorado shows or even AZ if it was a regional event.

| mr. randall. i hate to say it , but a big part of thereason we don't have shows here is because the last few years mr jaffe would actually talk shops out of doingan sq show. his excuse was cost and that spl was easier. but the reall reason was that he was still frustrated from dealing with sq people during his time in a previous organisation. i have heard first hand his pitch on doing spl instead of sq so i know what i am saiyng is true. now that i have stated the problem , let me offer a solution. let jaffe do the spl side of things only! but get someone to be an sq coordinator for our area. i don't dislike jaffe, so i'd rather rsee an amicable solution. i just don't want our area to keep dying like it has. | |
