new fi install today

just got done doing a single FI 18 install in the trunk of a Grandprix ,,goin to meter it monday ,,, its nasty loud im thinking 150s at 30hz .. we just played in the air tonight bass version and this thing is crazy nasty on the lows ,,,,box is tuned at 22 hz

so with that skinny ass port firing into the and i mean right at the drivers side fender your thnking 150????????????? lol please video tape this metering

Trunk has to rattle bad looks like all the pressure is going to stay in the trunk instead of going into the cabin

I did a BTL18 in a charger w/ an old orion xtr2400 last year. Similar box to the one in Rowlands pics, but port to passenger side. It did 149.x in the mid 40hz range, 145ish at 30hz.

all i know is it moves alot of air, its a chicks car . ya port kinda small 10'' wide by 15 '' tall but in a trunk i had not to many options pretty small trunk .. ,,,,it on low power right now just a quantum 4k at .5 so maybe 1700 watts next week ima put in a different amp should get close to 3k maybe ,,,, i was just really impressed with it ... its as loud as my lincoln is for sure

the box is twice the size i would have done myself but if she is happy its all goood

its for a all day beat the piss out of it . not for competition .

then the numbers are pointless no meter needed

lol ya guessed right on port 22 " long and amp right now is 1 quantum 4k at .5 so 1700watts maybe ,,,,monday goes in a orion amp that she has should get close to 3k on it just 1 stock battery and 1 small ars kinetik 1400 , in the trunk.. its only a basic install all her equipment ,,

well at show today it did 148 at 32 hz not bad for a trunk tunned that low.and on 1000w to 1300w
