any actual rule changes this year?

so i think the clamping rule has been put off till a later date,but what about the prostock/no wall merge? is that actually going to happen?
and have any of the current rules been modified any? i think 20101 will be a good year for USACi

I don't care what class they put the Avalanche on but oem is not mod! Just like 1+ stock = 2 batts in the back. Lol

ive nevere heard that about avalanchesmyself. but seems stock to me.either way, the prostock things is anything below the bpillar and window line but no floorcuts at all from what i gathered.blow thrus and full bed use for minis.

ans jimbos rite, the vans wont catch minis in the kick, but a mini wont ever hold another b&k record again.

well you have to ask yourself whats worth more to you a title or a record lol

depends on how ling the record lasts. records stand til they are beat, a championship can be won just because noone shows.

lol records are worthless man a world title is just that no matter what excuses are brought up as to why they are won.

i wsnt saying anything bad. id just prefer things that stand until broken. i love world titles but im(this means me, not everyone) more impressed with runnin the court til someone beats me. records stand and people remember them when they last forever. look at robs mod4k record. noone remembers who won the last year of 1800+, but that record still stands. the championship gets replaced every year, records have to be beat

well the title changes if someone allows it to meaning they become complacent, and stop working to improve.

I mean we all know usaci is hard to get loud in the kick
drag is hard to get loud on the dash

each has there own way, and its not easy to get there, but people do it.

I think (me personally) the title is more prestigiouse than the record now with that being said ive had 2 of those as well. 1 still stands, and the other was taken away by Jimbo. This doesnt mean I hate the man by no means, and shows that the equipment used at that time was good since the new equipment is whats doing it now.

Now with the no-wall guys being able to run the stock/prostock classes how many will actually show and do it??????? that remaines to be seen.

i wouldnt say that minis will never hold a b&k record. anyone ever see a mini truck with a full blow thru with 2 18s firing fwd?i bet itsa not far off from a caravan.

I agree Jeff but i have not heard anything about stock. I guess Ralph needs to clarify all of this when he posts the rules.

TO ALLOW THEM INTO PRO, AND NOT STOCK WOULDNT MAKE SECE AT ALL JUST TELLS ME THERE IS A VENDETTA GOING ON

i think the rules could be along the lines of,

any vehicle may enter, as long as the enclosure is below the window line and behind the b pillar.

modifications are allowed behind the b pillar (including bedcuts and complete walkthroughs on mini and full size trucks)

16v (17.9) voltage limit

no alternator limits

seats must be in vehicle

all other modified class rules apply

i think this class would bring in quite a few people. this opens up full size trucks, 2dr vehicles with seats flipped down and equipment on them, no wall vans, mini trucks with blowthroughs, trunk cars with cut decks and seat supports,and avalanches. should be a cool class. though it is a shame to get rid of the prostock format.

no walkthrus cause thats removing and cutting above the window line.the reason i say pro only tho is becuase its not stock by anymeans but not quite full mod either(no walls). that would be why ralph wanted to change the name to mod limited instead of pro stock just so theres no confussion by the name.its more of a limited mod then a stock. no vendettas involved or alterior motives. just opens up to more vehicles thats all.

that name makes more sence to me, but if its kept pro(stock) well ya know
