Deck suggestions?

I am still using my 5+ year old deck, and it is starting to have some major issues with the face. I have had it repaired once, and really dont want to spend money to repair it again.

I am currently using an older alpine unit that I have been able to get 2.4volts unclipped per RCA.

Any Suggestions on a deck with a true 5V output that will run under $300?

I have found a couple used decks like mine on ebay for under $100 so just considering ordering another one as its what I have always known

Jeff do you plan on NO CLIP on the deck or what? Jeremiah can back me on this, the kenwood deck I have is 5vlt rated, at 3/4 volume a bit past soft clip does 7vlts!! I actually have 2 of these excelon decks one is in my crx other in my truck!! If you want the model number I can ask my wife for it and then I will forward it to you, brand new it was less then $200 shipped I know that much!

I use both kenwood 792 and alpine 9886 both are. Awsome

I may use a soft clip, but I have always had the best results using my deck with no clip and alowing the amp to hav a soft clip.

Just looking at options. I am working on my old deck now to see if I can get it to last through the season 1 more time

Clarion DRZ9255. $1500 sq deck. can be had on Ebay for about $700. It makes a big difference

i run a kenwood excelon kdc-x891 deck in my blazer. it has 5v preouts and the thing is a beast. no clip. i also had it in my yukon. that thing did a 153.4@37hz and the dash bounced like a pair of dd tittes let free to bounce running down a beach, and it would not skip.
