Joint Finals a success. USACI numbers down due to very remote (from USACI) location but better than expected. Results posted on web site.

First topic message reminder :

I was wondering if anyone knows if the listing under the SPL records are correct. I show that the record for Texas in SB4 is 153. Is that current?

SB4....didn't someone go over this with you? Your in SB5. You work at Audio Depot.

God you people just don't get it I am not running the vehicle He is. I am the one that built it and makes sure there are no problems. I also never stated that the vehicle would set the SB4 record either, just that hopefully there would be a new one.

funny, cause you did in fact run the vehicle yourself. and set the sb4 record. i was there.

Did you run that voltage at 14 volt or higher....I noticed they really didn't check voltage. Don't you have a voltage regulator that will increase your voltage to 15.2? I need to get one of those. Where can I get one Kimon? Or do you want to be called Mr. Grey Area?

The Missing Link piece really only works on 2-3 batteries not 12. Idle voltage is 14.4 - 14.5. if I take out 9 batteries it jumps to 15.2 volts. It has one DC Power Alt. And as far as I know voltage cannot go above 14.7 volts.

Rules state that max voltage is 14.7 volts. Either way there is a gauge on the dash that is connected to the amp in the back that shows voltage. So even if they wanted to they could have checked, it would read the same as what it shows on the dash. Also the DC Power alt is not externally regulated.

I would hope it would be on 12 volts anything over 14.7 puts you in SB5.

Never would have thought little ole me would have got this loud with a demo vehicle with low power compared to everybody else.I need to actually work on it now and try and get it louder. First step is better voltage. 10.4v is not helping my numbers at all.

Never would have thought little ole me would have got this loud with a demo vehicle with low power compared to everybody else.I need to actually work on it now and try and get it louder. First step is better voltage. 10.4v is not helping my numbers at all.

Did you run that voltage at 14 volt or higher....I noticed they really didn't check voltage. Don't you have a voltage regulator that will increase your voltage to 15.2? I need to get one of those. Where can I get one Kimon? Or do you want to be called Mr. Grey Area?

1- Alternator- How many alternators does this vehicle have?
14.7- What voltage did you run at?
1200

The Missing Link piece really only works on 2-3 batteries not 12. Idle voltage is 14.4 - 14.5. if I take out 9 batteries it jumps to 15.2 volts. It has one DC Power Alt. And as far as I know voltage cannot go above 14.7 volts.

As far as you know or as far as what was checked? Oh thats right it wasn't checked.

Rules state that max voltage is 14.7 volts. Either way there is a gauge on the dash that is connected to the amp in the back that shows voltage. So even if they wanted to they could have checked, it would read the same as what it shows on the dash. Also the DC Power alt is not externally regulated.

this thread is pointless chuckeys in 2 weeks new sb 4 state record on 12 volts to boot.my vehical will be off.remember it wont count.

Well what happen to the new Texas SB4 record? I have seen the results from Chucky's show and?????????????????
