Are you going to be the next Texas State Champion? This event will be in Honor of Mark Barmore! Performance and Usaci are bringing this back this year and every year from now on!!!

THE TOP 3 PLACES IN EACH CLASS IS AN AUTOMATIC INVITE TO FINALS! NOT JUST FIRST PLACE!

The SQ hall is 17,632 sq ft. this is nice because SQ competitors will be allowed to park in team blocks, so all of your teammates can be beside one another. The only booths allowed in this hall are sq booths and they must maintain low volume. The Sq hall is seperated from the demo hall.

The demo booth hall is over 8,395 sq ft. Spl might also be allowed in this room is there is enough space allowed, otherwise they will be outside with the truck/car show. There is a large hallway seperating these rooms so noise should not be an issue. The car/truck show will be hosted by several huge truck and car show promoters.

Now the good stuff...
Sunday- top money round. Top 5 places recieve cash and custom trophys. Anyone can enter, you dont have to place the day before. Just pay the entry fee, and your in! ( amount not yet fiqured ). Everyone who competes in this round will recieve a Texas Summer Showdown shirt, and a copy of the cd for judging. There be special awards also given. I'll explain more later....Rules will also come later.

Saturday and Sunday - compete in 2 different organizations at one show (all Regional events), no where else will you get an opprotunity like this all year!!!

I will pay for everyones electricity,including booths!!!!!!!!!!!

We will have product giveaways, for contestants!!!

There is a main stage for trophy presentation, and indoor plumbing!!!!! Yeah baby! We will even have some make you sick Fair style food there so you can get your grub on.

MSE (MARK ELDRIDGE) IS HOSTING HIS SQ SEMINAR PRIOR TO THE EVENT. If you have not attended this, it is a must!

Currently we are working on bringing back the tweak and tune tents hosted by major sponsors!!!! More on this as it develops.

This is a great opprotunity to compete against the strongest vehicles in the nation, and Mexico. Many world champions attending this show with the strongest industry support in the nation. I have already signed more major 12 volt sponsors than USACI had at WORLD FINALS 2008.

There will also be magazine coverage.

You guys have plenty of time to build and prepare for this event. I dont want any excuses from you peeps. This will not be an event to miss, I promise. Call me with any questions at the shop.

I'm a proud Club 16 member. I drive a '94 Deep Jewel Green/Saddle and a '97 LSC Opal Opalescent/Ebony.

My '94 is nicknamed Magnatude and she will be competing mostly in Q class.

My '97LSC is nicknamed Pearl and she will be competing in Adv Consumer SQ.

I wish I could take them at this show but they are all works in progress.

I also have an '04 Blaze Red/Black Chrysler Crossfire, nicknamed Blaze, which will compete in Q also.

All three make up Team Magnatude.

I competed Intermediate Consumer with my 95 back in 06. Qualified for World Finals.

Had Focal K3Ps, with the 6.5" mid/tweet components in the dash. Cut out the dash pad, then glassed in the mids, with a small tweeter pod right next to them.

Be honest with me, don't you think that the Mark VIII is one tough cookie to work with?

I would have loved to listen to your system. And yes, you're correct, the Marks are tricky.

Magnatude competed in Q class in '06 using a custom center channel along with the factory headunit.

I wish you the best this year because having worked on a few, I think the Mustang is even tougher to work with than the Mark.

The missus and I hope to hit most of the major/money round shows next year including Texas Summer Showdown.

I though he about had the 10's done? I have some Dyn MW 182's we could work with.

I will call you this evening and discuss that with you. Looks like I might need to try and find some Dynaudio tweeters too..although I have a screaming deal on some Morel Piccalo tweeters for 240/pr

Please keep the CD a secret until the day of the event,, hand it out with the competitor packet!!! Also try to keep judges list a secret.... This will keep it as unbiased as possible....

CAN and Ben O are teaming up to offer a single seat class along side the 2 seat class. Cash payout.

This class is open to everyone, no qulification needed.

So what's the cash payout for the big money round on Sunday? Just first...first through third...how much guaranteed without the extra added in from the competitor entries...or is that where the pot comes from?
I've had a couple of people ask me the above...so I pass the buck. Good advertisement too!

Cash payout will be a minumum of $1500. Pays out to top 5. Custom trophys also. Again It will be more than that, depending on the amount of entries.

Other than Deep South National ( thank you Rick Sellars ) where else can you go to one show and get 6 world class judges at your car in one setting. Not even Finals! This is a huge tuning tool. Dont miss out people. I entered Ricks show last year knowing I wasnt even going to place, it was so valuable to me. Well worth the money. It made my daily driver competitve enough to place at finals. I encourage you guys to enter, not to help the pot, but help yourself as a competitor be stronger.

I am signed up for both Q and SQ in Intermediate Consumer...now to get my car going...it isn't looking good yet.

Man I hope that I am done with my car by then. I have a wedding and knee surgery around the corner. This will be interesting.
