How much power to do 160???

How much power and how many woofers does it take to do a 160?? Im talking clamped power Also what freq did you do it at??

So Rowland wanna reveal what your hitting @ 42hz?? I have never "tuned my box in" per say. I just built it and tuned it to play all kinds of music loudly.Never really focused on peaking at one freq.By the way my 159+ is with 11,600 real world watts.

its burping high 163, close to 164 and street beating close to 162 at 42hz .

I'm hitting 154 with 5500 watts clamped at 44hz with 2 12s. New 15s will be here next week and according to sub engineer should see 158+ with 2 new model 15s....We'll see at KCIR Drags if gets done.

I. understand where this is going but I look at like this you say that you have a daily set up and you built it to play music and not a burp vehicle but honestly who plays there equipment in a daily driver with there amps at .25 each? That is not a daily set up. It is a burp vehicle that can play music for 30 seconds. You know that the equipment your running when you have it at .25 can't play a entire song. Your setup when you have it at 1 ohm per amp is a daily set up. So your BURP set up might be able to do a 160 but your daily set up wont

May not have much to do with the topic but why do people run so many classes above theirs anyway,do they have something they want to prove or what? Just a question.

Batts,subs,mid/high amps,just about everything still isn't here yet.

All I do have is sub amps,mid/highs,and a head unit.

I see 160's easy in your future once all installed.

Brother I'm hoping,decided against 16 volt though,not good for daily so went back 14 volt and upgrading some more stuff.

What's coils have to do with a deathmatch? If yours is setup daily like you say it will do fine.

More coils and motors will last longer duh silly
