| WHEN RUNNING DUAL ALTS WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO DO THE BELTS? ONE BELT AROUND THE WHOLE SET UP OR TWO BELTS. ONE FROM ALT TO MOTOR AND ALT TO ALT? | |

| ONE BELT IS WHAT THE COMPANY JUST SENT ME IN AN EMAIL... I JUST WISH THEY HAD A BOLT UP BRAKET KIT FOR THAT MODEL BUT THERE ARE A COUPLE OF COMPANIES WORKING ON THEM. SO IT LOOKS LIKE THE S-10 WILL BE READY IN A FEW MONTHS. | |

Those alts I have are on a '92 Buick Roadmaster station wagon. There was enought room on top to put the second alt with out moving anything. I had a local auto repair shop set it up for me. I have been doing business with those guys for over 15 years and they do great work as you can see from the pic.

| I CALLED OHIO AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NO KIT FOR THE 2.8? THEY SAID THEY HAD 2 KITS BUT THEY WERE FOR THE 4.3 AND A 5.7 I THINK IT WAS. NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK? DO YOU THINK IT WAS ONE OF THOSE KITS OR NOT? | |

I cant see the middle alternator doing everything it should with that little contact area with the belt, gotta be some slipping.

| I was worrying about that. New belt very tight. Hadn't herd any squils or slips yet. | |
