Ok I got a question

In what classes can I run with my door open.

Any class except for legal...

The rules state that you may run with a door opened, windows down, or fanning the door. Slamming of the door while being metered is not allowed.

ok cause at some shows they don't let you open the door or open your windows.

Not USACI....unless like stated, you run legal

Okay, I have a question too. WTF is legal? What organization promotes it? What are the rules for it? WHERE are the rules for it? I see on the USACi web site that there are records for legal (dash) runs but nowhere do I find anything regarding legal rules. And while I'm ranting, where are the rules for World Records? Again, non-existent!

I just love contests that have expensive entry fees and absolutely no rules!

Well said. I've been wondering that same thing since joining this organization. I've studied the rules high and low, and couldn't come up with the answer. At one show I attended, someone asked, "You running legal or outlaw?" My answer--"Ummm, yea."

Legal SPL Rules are the same as outlaw EXCEPT the car is sealed up and the Mic is dash 12x4x1

and the car is off

and you have to have at least one 4" port


and you cannot have more than 4 runs of 0/1


and you must play a competition CD from 1994


and someone in the immediate vacinity must have a joint lit


and you must run between the hours of 4 and 5 pm


aside from that, it's EXACTLY like outlaw.

Shouldn't something to this affect be written in our Outlaw SPL Rule Book? ALL of it, not just your sentence above. Might avoid some confusion .... mmm.

how long have you been a director? I have been here only two years and I knew about it. SLOW POKE.. But then again I do work in the office with the two Smart Azzes..
