midwest shows?

First topic message reminder :

never thought i would have to make a post like this. but are there or will there be any midwest shows in 09?? ks,mo,ne,ia

Just added a show in Omaha and Kearny, NE to the events list. It is only FEB! We have more shows on the list this feb than EVER before. Most do not get listed till april or may.

that kearney show is a must for anyone close very large show last year we didnt get out till around midnight......

come on rowlands! make some shows happen! march........be nice.

we have two so far july and august .... both usaci shows .. id be more then happy to split the cost of a march show if any other shops want to .. i need points gotta get region 6 points champ again

april 4th is in il.

i should be to both of those hehe.

Mo will have

2 KCIR
1 thunder in the Heartland Regional (With Street Pounders) at Drag Strip
1 Triple Points - NW AUDIO
1 Triple Points (With Street Pounders)- Drag Strip im Springfield, Mo
2 Loud and Clear (Donnie is working on dates)

Thats one region, two triples, and four singles along with any other local events that will be added to the event list later this year. I only know of two in Kanasas and one is near the Colorado border.

There is also a new "Org" in the area and that always detracts for a short time until the new wears off. We will have many show in Mo by the time 2009 is over. New "Orgs" tend to create new excitement and in the long run make more business for everyone, including USACI.

where exactly its at (like i know benchmark near me holds shows no where near its shop)
how much entry fee is for the spl?
how much entry fee for the car show?
how is the car show judged?
ect.... (sorry i'm used to doing only car shows and i know all palces are different lol) and usually im an early bird but how early do most show up?

Goose, your best bet would be to call the shop for the info for when and where. 217-223-6780

Benchmark has to move their shows because of the subdivison behind them always calls the police.

i thought they moved it to the discount tire place now? (cuz they did that 2 years ago and joe had to borrow a fuse from nick cuz they said it wasn't fused right?? and ended up blowing 2 subs that day cuz fuse was too small or something). sundown and alpha omega told me all last year they were going to and i never heard back from them.

i hope so cuz my car goes in for paint soon, and want to get my new rotors installed and put on aftermarket wheels then so dont have to take stockies off twice in 2 months lol

called shop today. sounds like should be good time. it is at the show. the 'carshow' portion is just the park n show off deal i thought was actual show. too good ot be true i guess for me lol. its on north 54th street. said they will be there early on if people show up early. all i know is i'll embarass myself after hearing about the eclipse w/ wall of 12-10's and van of 12-12's, ect... my 3-L5's wil be nothing.....TL will read back 'not loud enough' lol but sounds like should be a good time (and 1st time for me)

and talked to jeff at benchmark and they aren't sure about shows since guss there's rumor's about no midwest charity cruise this year; suggested doin one day of LLCC summer show since they hold clinics and have a stand out there, and suggested maybe doing at a local parking lot as well. hopefully jeff will come up with something.

Looks like gonaa have more Midwest shows than last year! Got the regional this weeknd in Topeka and Looks like a 2X USACI and 2X DBDRA late this month at Loud and Clear....
