| I'm about to build a box for my truck. 6 08L715s dual 2s and 3 zx2500.1s ported around 24 cu foot. It's a daily driver but I like to go these shows and run SB and do a burp every now and again. About what tuning should I do. I have 45 in my head for some reason, would like other opinions. | |

| I would go around 38-42hz for tuning from what I seen Chevy trucks like around 50 Hz so if you tune around that you should be ok for burping.. better watch out were are starting to get some loud people Down South!!! | |

| Why you decided to go with 4 instead of 6? | |

| The guy who I was talking to said for my airspace/dimensions 6 wasn't really gonna work. I don't want to go sealed, and I am a big guy so my seat has to go pretty far back so I was limited on what I could do. I got a nice box design for 4 of em though I'll throw up here in a hot min. | |

| you could fit 6 15s in there ported with no problem you would only need about 20-22 cubic foot | |

| I have about 24.75 cu foot available, pretty reliable source (g-monk) who is doing my box design for me said that 6 15s really just isn't feasible for the amount of airspace. | |

| I see what he said, with the face dimensions I gave him it wasn't enough room for 6. I don't have enough skill level yet to just wall off the back. So I was going for a box. He said he needs about 53 in long. My current box is 53 in long but the way everything curves into the roof towards the top I just couldn't do 53 in and still keep that wall effect. | |

Then pay someone else to build it or find someone else with the experience to help you. A wall in a truck like that should be built inside the truck following every angle and curve of the truck to get the full potential from it. You should be able to get 61 or 62 wide across the bottom.

| Haha you are serious about me getting 6 in there! I think I got a guy can do it. I was really wanting this to be my first build, but w/e. I'll do some asking around and 3rd coast customs is right around the corner if I can't find someone local. I'll do some asking around and if the price isn't right I'll prolly just drop back down to 4.
of course if you move to dallas . . . . . . then I smell roadtrip! hehe

| Glad to hear you are going to get want you want. The only limit in this sport is imagination. If you can think it up it can probably be done. Have fun and make sure they tune it low. | |
