So what's up...truck ready to give the GN a run?
Let's figure out a show and bring your buddy Lou Le too. We'll see how we all fair in Consumer Advanced and Q if you like.
I want a good judge...like Finals judge stature. I'd like the show to be a good split in distance for us. No biased territory either. LOL...
We're all friends...calling folks out between friends is fun IMO...and I hope you view it as such.
Now, Mike, if you aren't doing Consumer Advanced, that's cool...we could do pro Q or advanced if you want...I don't think I'd be stuck there after a local show...I'd want to make sure though.

Don't know, I kind of get passed it after thinking about 7 straight years of double digit wins and finishing the year highly ranked. I can deal with lil' brother A&M wins, I get more upset with bad neighbor OU.

I'll have to catch up with ya'll at a show sometime. Definitely Heatwave this year. I am serious about getting into a show or two.

Yeah Jason, you being a former judge and all , you should be able to clean up at your first show. haha

btw, how's your install coming along?

The install is okay. Honestly probably not comp ready, actually pretty sure of it, but the sound is really getting there so my first steps back into the arena will be 'Q' only.

Honestly, it's pretty funny, I put in just a few pieces of equipment just saying to myself, I just want it to jam and better than stock. I don't care about SQ or comp aspects. Then I tweaked here, then there, fabbed a little something here and there, added/removed a processor...then oh crap...this sounds pretty darn good. Needless to say, that's kind of why I'm back on the boards seeing what's been goin' on with old crew.

No joke, but honestly, scoring 30 points... should be enough, allowing 30+ points, that's the problem.

I have a feeling there will be a few more this year! I may have x2 for you all!

Chris, that sounds like a good old fashioned call out. Bringing back the old school in competition. Cool!

John, if the judges are coming that Mike has mentioned he is trying to get, unless something very strange happens, that show is going to be about as good as it gets that is close to you (and neutral) before finals. If you don’t bring the GN and get beat, you are NEVER going to hear the end of it and there are no excuses. Now, if the Vette comes out on top, that’s a different story. Ya gotta pay to play…

If it’s one seat judging, it’s anybody’s guess as to who is going to win that one…. Processing power vs modified interior…. THAT should be interesting… Glad I'm teaching this weekend.....

I'm bringing the Vette. I've got 800+ miles to drive after that show and I'm not doing it with my F350 and car hauler. Surely a Pate creation can beat my daily driver...I would expect Lou's car with a modified dash, modified seat rails, raised floor, airbags removed etc would stretch a pretty solid point lead on me. My Buick would beat it (my vette)...for sure. Points are points. I need some...this show is close...that's a fact. LOL.

Oh....and I have a very special competitor coming from Dallas as well for you John.

Oh....and lou has a great processor in that car...and it has a one seat setting! I love this!

yeah I'm bringing a knife. I'm going from COnway to Tyler, then I have a meeting Monday in Tulsa, staying overnight entertaining clients then coming back to Conway on Tuesday. That's the reason I don't want to be in a 11mpg hauler with car in tow.

i hate to miss this , but i have to be at log beach , ca . at noon sunday and drive to san diego ,than tijuana by sunday nite .so , i am going to miss this event , i tried to push this trip until monday , but i can't.

I though I was coming to but the car is going through a dramatic change so it will not be ready for the show.
