Trunk Class???

Will we see a new class next year for trunk cars?

You wanting to go back and show what you can do out of a trunk Rich?

OH OH. Rich wants a trunk class. I hope it goes thru so I can witness your scores first had.

I would love a trunk class. Thinking about buying a lude. but want to be able to compete still. This would be awesome.

I ALSO WOULD LIKE SOME KIND OF TRUNK CLASS.I HAVE A FAMILY CAR AND RUN OUT OF MY TRUNK.I THINK IT WOULD BE KINDA COOL RUNNING AGAINST OTHER TRUNKS AND NOT BE WORRIED ABOUT HAVING TO COMPETE WITH THE CRXs.SOME LOCAL SHOW DO TRUCK/SUV,HATCHBACK,TRUNK.I THINK THIS IS A GOOD WAY AND BREAK IT DOWN BY POWER.ALSO HAVE STREETBEAT THOW!!!!BUT THE 3 DIFFRENT WAYS IN SPL WOULD BE NICE OR JUST SO WAY FOR US TO COMPETE IN A TRUNK.

i ran some trunk class at two shows , have to be very carefull about rules, do the seats have to be in , can they fold down , back deck cut out , etc.. i like the idea alot myself , just have to iron out , do you do like street beat or burp , voltage , how many subs , or just use power rules .
could start out like street beat only need one entry to get to finals , or do only at triples or reg. comps . stay positive on ideas and maybee some one will take it serious .

All that shows is that there was no last minute local interest in it. Had there been more advance notice on how the local classes were gong to be ran at finals I assure you there would have been a better turnout. As it was the local classes were listed on the fliers as all street beat classes.

yeah but none of us could run the local truck class and i thing only five local ran the local class

im down for this class as well

i think we can draw in a lot of new competitors to usaci this way.

They use to have a guy in my area that use to compete with the Ac meter and he would do a 166 legal in a trunk car with 3 10s.

I'm down with a trunk class.

It was a lot of hard work to get it there but it was at the time a loud car and it sounded good musically.

man i wasnt told there was a trunk class only local spl and sb would of enterd a car or two for trunk class

And a few other orgs have been doing it longer. Not to rain on your parade or anything. But don't say it is stealing from you when it is actually not your idea in the first place.

my impala was in the trunk class 3000 up

i have run in that type of set up a few times.I think its a great ideal to set it up trunk and hatchback.than u can go by power or subs or what ever.

bring your mouth and energy to usac and see how you dom then in that trunk

trunks have always been welcome in usac and those that have trunks and dont wanna buy a s10/crx/astro/caravan/yugo/festiva
wanna try to ban those mentioned so the idea proposed is to have a strictly trunk class

its not copying someones idea if you show me the patten on it ill agree it needs to be named soemthing differant untill then your just bitching
