Amp Choice

I need some advice on an amp for a Cerwin Vega dvc 4ohm 12", for a daily driver. It's supposed to be 500 rms. I like quality stuff, and I figured this would be the place to get good, honest advice. Thanks.

Rd D5 is what i would use.

fish you dont think that would be too much power for daily? i say if you want to get some good sq with it then go with the new jbl ms-a5001 fully digital amp and would go great paired with that sub and would sound super clean

At 2 ohm it would be about right . And like we all did he will be upgrading wishing he didnt piss away money on a amp that will not take him far down the road. I wish i didnt piss away thousands to end up with D5's in the end. Just trying to save the man the long toad to a d5 is all

I'm pretty happy with my d5's.

Guys, thank you very much for the advice. Chris, thanks for speaking with me earlier. I'm glad I haven't bought anything, yet. It just looks like I need to save more money. I guess on the clean comment, you guys aren't Cerwin Vega fans. Or, is it where clean is what you call systems that aren't loud? I know there are a lot of really great subs out there, I just can't spend that type of coin, right now. Like Chris said, the future would probably hold an upgrade.
