Another rule thats broke.......

First topic message reminder :

Hey everyone. This is my first post. I figured I'd spark a fire. I was reading the rules....you know, those things that make it worth paying someone else to tell me how loud my stuff is, and found this.

"PROPER POWER CLASS:
A competitor MAY NOT compete in a power class other than THE ONE that his/her total SYSTEM POWER DICTATES. The exception to this would be the unlimited or “OPEN” power class"

If this is in fact a rule, which I assume it is, I found it on the very first page of the rule book, than this means to me that a 0-600 stock vehicle CAN NOT run in 1001-2000 mod with out literally adding amps. Does anyone read this differently?

not true with the back seat out and below the window line up to the b-piller with the new rules i think you can run ss

fs/cs is on the main page go to shows or event and at the bottom it will show what each one means

not according to the rules. That's my point here. re-read the rule.

Here it is copied and pasted. I capitalized what I think is pertinent.

I just don't understand how y'all read this and then say "with a 600w @ 4ohm amp....you can run ANY CLASS in the ORG"

I haven't been around too many years, but all the points champions in the past run more than one class at each show (except maybe biguns). In fact there was a guy two years ago that went to South Padre and won like 5-6 classes. I don't want to say any names because I don't really know the guy (seems to be a pretty cool guy), but either way, he won the classes. If the rules were broken, then the head guys in charge watched and approved them. It was funny to hear his name as 1st place so many times. It was a show for rings and that guy (in my opinion) (if chasing points) should have allowed others in some of those classes a chance for a ring. I'm not crying about it, because in fact I was louder than him and I won my ring, and if I were an a$$hole, I could have gone in all his classes to make sure he didn't win all those classes. But back to the rule, it is strictly NOT enforced. In fact it is strongly recommended, so they can make the most amount on each competitor. But is it not worth going to a show???? Hell na, for me it makes me want to get louder, so I can beat that clown running 5-6 classes at each show. There is nothin like hearing the same guys name 5-6 times as second and third. This is not hating or crying, this is just some info.

and don't forget all the streetbeat classes you fit into. oh and lets not forget the 2 port classes.
