| OK Heres what happened i was installing my amp in a buddy of mines truck and i was wireing up the subs when he started the truck and i had the speaker wires crossed and the amp shut down. Im pretty sure i blown the output but not sure how to fix it. I've opened the amp and there is no visable burnt spots or smell. If any one can help thanks
ps. tha amp is a Powerbass ASA1500.1D | |

| switching the speaker leads shouldnt have done anything, other than make the woofer play out of phase, really need more info, | |

| no the sub wasnt hooked up the amp was on and the speaker wires crossed whilehooked up and im guessing it short circited ti it has no fuses on ouside nor inside | |

| so u put the +/- power-cable to the speaker leads is that what ur try-en to say...

| did u double check everything with a volt meter? is amp protect light on or is it even showing power up? if speaker wire leads touched while amp was on, then it would have a possibility of "blowing" some of the output mosfets, but generally those amps will go into protection when powered up if that was the case.

| ok let me reise it for u guys
the amp was hooked up right
the speaker wires were hooked to amp
the speaker wire ends that hook to sub got crossed while the truck was on and there was a loud pop but no smoke or visable burt marks in amp? | |

| neither light comes on but the fan inside comes on is it a fix i might be able to fix myself | |

| nope..unless u can fix auto amps...idk your level of talent on this ...but just send it to arc and they will fix it for ya | |
