Amp testing

First topic message reminder :

2Ia 40.1 in my civic with my finaals
There nice amps butt a little protecty at 1/4 ohm.

This testing is with 2 D5's strapped @ .5

No! Strapped at .5 .so .25 each

with rise your amps are actually a little over 1 ohm each and making a little over 5k watts. I think that's what Ryan meant. If they were down to an actual .25 ohm would they even run?

Ahha gotcha. .. I would like to find out if they can stay on at a actual .25 lol.

Did you clamp your finals setup last year?

Nope. I've only clamped about 5 burps on my car off 2 d9@.5 each... rising to 2.66 .. about 3500 each. .. but I'm not sure how accurate that even was lol. At finals the only burps I did was the 58 you saw in the pits.. and whatever I did in the lanes. And I had 2 full tilt burps at home before I put the recones in . .. 99% of my testing was just tgw 2 amps

It sounds like you are at mid 156 on good 0-1000 power if you can give the amps the juice.

I would hope at least.

I only say that because of the 2 d9 score we had was the same..

yours was strapped@.5 mine was .5 per. I'd have to think I'd be a 57+ with d9@.25 each.

Only way to really know s to put the same 2 amps and power supply in mine..

With the d9's I was strapped @1 ohm. I couldn't get them to run at .5

I tested with one amp on one sub @ .5 is but was louder strapped @1 ohm
