Blasphemy! In USAC, you can never peak too high. Just join the buzz-buzz pride parade Which series of Mmats are those? Everything from P2's to Dreadnoughts look the same to me (from the front). | |

| Don't believe Kenny was at Finals... but I used the squid. It'll probably see some more time soon, if I can pull everything together for Jimbo's show. | |

| Wow....you guys sure are putting in a lot of work on those port jigs. It took me a little while to make my 4-8" flares, but they all came out the same even though they were made by hand. All had an even curve and were smooth as a babys butt. If yer only gonna make so many of the larger 8s, why dont you just build them by hand? Unless yer selling them or breaking them...im not sure i get it. | |

| Ya know Dave...if you would've found time in your busy finals schedule to stop by and grace me with your presence, i could have told you bout it in full detail. Mine are just rings i cut on with a jigsaw, 1/2 steps (takes less bondo and comes out better...stop trying to cut corners) filled it with bondo then started the sanding process. Remember with the bondo to start rough sanding as soon as it reaches the "plastic" stage. You use a rough grit like 40 or 60 to get a starting point...it saves a lot of time in the final sanding process. If you are not gonna mass produce them i dont see why you dont wanna put more time into them...kind of a pride thing...form and function. Not the spl way i know...but sometimes its nice to be proud of work that can be viewed up close and performs well. | |
