It is a single chamber it should peak about 57 hz

It's called fine tuning dave LOLOLOLOL, like sanman said it wont effect much.

In my midwestspl boxes for the basic classes I have always had better results with one port slightly shorter, or longer. Only .1 diff, but still .1 is .1. It usually seemed to give me slightly higher numer on the 3rd bar on the TL.

That was with one 1 inch shorter than the other, now maybe if i just did both of them 1/2" shorter so they were the same length it would have been the same thing (maybe, maybe not).

Same thing was true with my usaci 6 12 box, I often ran 2 of the 4 ports 1 inch shorter but i think that was more to get them in the right spot in the car more than anything, probably true for mwspl boxes to, just get them in the right spot in relation to the car.

I just always said that say if one port length would give you say 50z, and the shorter one say 52 hz, well it would just balance out to 51hz. weather or not that is true or not, I don't know, but for spl it wont make a differance and if it's a daily box it wont matter really either, just give you slightly diff tuning maybe.

should be loud the kids car does 153s with almost same box with 1800 watts

chad is correct alot of people still think tuning is in the ports and lenghts, and well not totally true at all

I'm a fiend for crazy box designs... and this qualifies. Build quality is there, as always.

+2 on the mis-sized ports. Tuning needs to be ball-park, but the box size and orientation are way more important.

Questions:
1) Do you have any bracing? The 2 angled sides will stiffen it some... but you're going to send alot of power through some heavy woofers.

2) Why did you choose to angle off the front-driver's side corner? There's still available air space. Air flow to the cabin?

those 2 are fine. They only have the Okc show on them. I just got the 3rd motor back and built it this weekend.

1) not yet.. I am using one d9 to start. Than 3 . if I like the numbers I may go ahead and put 6 d9's if I can make the room.
2) from previous testing. To make room for batts. Yes it is only 1 inch taller than my finals box.

i got 2 designs that hasn't been tried yet or i haven't even seen tried in trunk yet anyway, one of them for sure. gonna require some technique to build them but hey lol i am a WOOD WORKER lmao
