| Hey guys, a very very good friend of mine is on the hunt for a new company to have in his shop. He wants someone that has a wide range of product. Coax, comps, amps, subs differnt price levels.. I told him i would ask on here because i value your guys input. oh, would also like them to be some what exclusive. Thanks : Aaron

| MMats = ...3yr warranty on all amps, 2 yr on subs ..............All products designed AND assembled 100% in the USA ..............No unauthorized internet sales so you have good margins ..............Territory offered ..............Excellent customer support
Digital Designs = ...Built in the USA ........................Absolutely no internet sales keep margins high
Diamond = ...Great product, wide range from low budget to high end .................Internet sales exclusive to only a few that sell at MAP.
Those are my suggestions.

| You can still carry DB if you wanted it is not territory protected at all....... So get it and sell it cheaper than the fool down the street........
It does well for me
as well as memphis, kicker,RF,Mtx,pioneer, kenwood they all do very well but best bang for our buck is hands down DB Drive

| Where is the shop located? What is his primary customer base? Asking what brand to bring in should probably be one of the last questions you ask after doing some market research in the area. For instance, if clientele want 6 12's regardless of if they are $40 and cheap or not, just to say they have 6 12's you bring in brand X. If the majority of clientele want good sound and not a lot of bass, bring in Focal, Audison, Hertz, JL Audio, etc. Research your customer base before deciding what other brand you may want to bring on. Is there a particular section of your customers you have nothing to offer? If so, consider filling that gap. If your friend has already answered many of these questions, please provide that info so we might can make better suggestions to help make the business more profitable | |

| For real......if you want to make money???? Its about the brands that you don't see online...you can make it what you want....I have to thank Memphis car audio and my number one installer for making my life better...and I pay top dollar for my installer...50% comissoin on labor and 25% on product....no one pays like that...but Memphis and DC make it like that...QUAD......12V is alive! | |

| as moonie said, his bigest concern is a company that is some what exlusive and for sure, not available on Egay.. I know he needs a company that had a bit of everything, amps, subs, coax, comps, marine is good also. Price wise, i think he is looking for the range of for example 10" subs... MAP around $175 or less.. lower to middle line cost wise. Most of his installs are single or dual sub. You dont see very many big spenders in our area. | |

| I haven't seen anyone mention Sound Stream. Do they not have a wide variety in the line? I don't carry the line myself. But, our other store has been doing well with it. I would have to say that I have considered it. | |

| I would say DD but my friend is a dealer and he is having problems with dealers in his state selling way below map we have heard of other shops selling M2s for 459 and M3s for 850 which is way below map and he has told reps at DD about this and it seems like that don't care. | |
