| First topic message reminder :Did any one hear about this? What would you all say if CS had it's own class? We would have 1 Mono amp and 2 10" Subs. All at a total package cost under $1400? Would any one be interested? | |

- yes you can get the stuff from james, but he is not a dealer per say in the sense that he doesn't have a store front selling this stuff. I thought this was suppose to be something that helps usaci promote a dealer or store, and at the same time the store promote usaci by saying ohh buy this and comepete against your friends and others that have the same stuff benefitting dealers across the country, not just one guy selling stuff out of his garage or whatever.
THANK YOU!!!!!!! | |

| Whats to stop me from offering a $1400 system comparable to the Cactus from my store....It doesnt have to be any particular brand, in fact it could be a package that included a specific model mmats mono amp and a pair of DD 10's. Send in the product to have it approved by Ralph, pre-pay for a booth at finals, and put money towards a competitors prize, and wallah, I'm able to sell tons of these packages to USACi competitors.
Not that I actually want to do that, I'm just saying.
Like I mentioned before, there's two different reasons for starting a class like this. One, for competitors in mind, its build vs build because all the product is exactly the same. Two, for manufacturer interest. If they're able to offer competitors a specific package that will go up against other company's comparably priced package, it puts it front stage if it wins, and if we offered the exclusive class dedicated to them with their product only for the next season, man, they'd sell tons of product.
Idk, either way, I like the idea no matter who product it is. However, you'll never see me pay 1400 bucks for 2 mid-level 10's and an little mono amp, way to expensive.
I had hoped a class like this would incorporate a price point that is targeted towards the day ta day customers i have that buy a typical 2-12 1000watt system. They're the ones wanting to enter shows but their systems suck compared to even this 1400 system Cactus is offering.
Idk, I know theres no perfect answer or class and everybody has an opinion, each good for one but bad for another...its never ending, but for me I'm just failing to see how this class is goin to generate future interest from major manufacturers and/or its going to help us retailers.

| Well, this is some thing new and we are going to be 1 of the 3 comp. that will have this class. We are still working out the details on which amp and which sub. I also am thinking about 1 amp and 1 12" Lim. Ed. CS Sub. But it's all too soon, at this moment. As for dealers.... this is one of the reasons why I want to do his class. To get more dealers in with CS. With some help from USACI and this new class I am sure it would be a good start.
As for the start all sales will go out from my US ware house. Until dealers are set up in the diff. stats.

| I'm pretty sure I know a mfg who would be interested in getting involved in this. I know our package would come in around $1000 and 800-1000 watts, 2-10" subs or even 2-12" subs. I'll make some calls early this week and get with you Ralph. | |
