USACI Manufacturer Class: (New for 2010)

Did any one hear about this?
What would you all say if CS had it's own class?
We would have 1 Mono amp and 2 10" Subs.
All at a total package cost under $1400?

Would any one be interested?

I'd be in for it, I've got lots of hobbies that cost lots of money and this would enable me to compete with limited funds. This would be great since I know there's a cap on my spending. This would let the best builder or cheater for that matter win something lol

I know another mfg that might want in on something like this. I agree to 3-5 mfg in on this. As long as equipment is in the same range I don't see why we don't let more in on this. Competition and the industry could really benifit from a class like this.

The package will be sold at the same retail cost.
All subs and amp will be same.

1400 is too much imo

we get 1150 for 2 10's an 500w amp pre fab box and insalled so 1400 is in the right range

well if your going ro chArge retail you better get this news of this class out to all your car audio retailers/shops cuz i honestly i dont think anyone on the the net will buy 2 10s and 1200 watt amp for 1400. not busting balls to be A dick just being realistic. 1000 is a little more realistic imo

I like it Ralph. Package would be only available through retailers and would require a receipt of purchase from a retailer. No modifications to equipment package(amplifier mods, woofer mods, etc) should be added to the rules. Make sure the manufacturers allowed in the class aren't known for doing these types of things with amps.

Yes, no net sales.
Also the subs and amp is from my Power Fighter line.
Take a look at the spec.

Nature of the beast unfortunantly. Its that or a S dime I would guess.

Not necessarily with SB1 rules. I could think of a few other vehicles without installation limitations that could compete.

So considering that cactus has no us dealers and we are suppose to buy it from a dealer, and net sales won't be done, where would we buy this stuff?

James? i know he seems to be the "go to guy" for Cactus.

yes you can get the stuff from james, but he is not a dealer per say in the sense that he doesn't have a store front selling this stuff. I thought this was suppose to be something that helps usaci promote a dealer or store, and at the same time the store promote usaci by saying ohh buy this and comepete against your friends and others that have the same stuff benefitting dealers across the country, not just one guy selling stuff out of his garage or whatever.

Rockford and Bestbuy parted ways. It was annouced a while back. Best buy is just working through stock.

Now they are supposed to be getting Kicker.
