Mod 0-1000 at 2009 finals

Well I just sent off my Finals registration today so I'll start this thred, who's competing at finals in mod 0-1000? I'll be there but my best so far this year is 150.3 so I'm not a big player plus I am switching my amps to my Kicker XS100's for the show so I will be dropping power but I'm hoping for a top 10 finish. So who else can we expect to see there?

oh you will for sure get a top 10 finish.

what they said.. if it was anything like last year you might even get to take home a trophy..

I know three people going in that class that do 157+

yeah but can do and will do at finals is a whole nother story man youll see

a 157 shouldnt even take top 5 at finals.. if people actaully built and showed up.. everyone is just to scared to build ... its always like each class had 1 loud guy.. that everyone is to scared to lose to.. so they dont show up. the ONLY bad thing ill ever have to say about the TL...

Yea, looking at last years scores I would have gotten top 5 in both my classes, mod 0-1000 & SB4 but I have a feeling this year will be different especially since it is a joint finals with DBDRAG. I get this feeling that some draggers will cross over and do USACi also but we'll see. How far down do they do trophies in each class? The only hardware I expect to leave with is my points plaque (if they are still doing that this year, that is) and anything above and beyond that would be great. Moonie, one thing I have learned from past events is people who say they will show up and people who actually show up is two different things but we'll see.

You know Alan, I did a scroll of EVERY event this year and there were 4 guys who did over 160 in this class but ironically they only went to 1 show each so I doubt they will be coming to finals, actually in this class, of the people I've seen listed at multiple shows, it seems 153-155 is the norm

look at finals last year .. i havent looked.. but i bet its one loud guy.. chopper.. and a bunch of low scores.. i wish i had 2 d5s.. id hustle my ass off to make it for finals.. 14kw and 4 mts.. thats more power than i had in 07....

I am going in the 0-1000 class....I cant break the 152.0 number.

I just checked and last year there were 5 people in this class, John Davidson did a 163.4 (who by the way did a 162.8 at SBN this year), second did a 155 and the other 3 were under 150. This year there should be a lot more people, I hope

the three i know will show up i promise you that. there will probably be a few guys that will and should be in the 160s....but we will have to wait and see

showing up is 1 thing doing your number is not a garauntee It sucked that Troy had a shitty finals last year I was excited to know he was pretty close

Well I for one am excited for finals, I am not the loudest out there, but I am holding my own here on the west coast 16 first place 7 second place and 1 third place and nothing less than that oh yea plus a first place for sport wagon at a big car show in Cali (don't ask, I don't know how either haha) all with the same exact system I have been running for 2 years now with nothing blowing except my 3 year old mids.but I am looking forward to meeting in person everyone I have met here on the forum and seeing all the best of the best audio vehicles in the sport I have loved for years.

it going to be fun.....4 sure. I went last year to check it out and had a blast this year im ready to go already....for those who take it wrong im sorry. I go to party who cares what happens after that i try to make it fun and thats it. when its not fun i will go do something else

maybe on 18v and imp. rise to .5 ohms haha. other hten that i cant see that much power coming out of em

i know a couple people with points in this class that do over a 60

yup, there are plenty of compeitors that can do 160+ in this class....can't wait to see who all is there

yeah i know lol. i was knda giving hope and being realistic at the same time. strong amps though
