Ralph, Tim...SQ

Hey...I know you read this section a lot...go check SQ and see the thread about getting more folks at Finals. I hope that it may develop to something real cool over the next week or so.
I'm copying what of that post pertains to rules below...just an idea to feel out. Totally thinking out loud on my own.

And I will add one more way the manufacturers could get involved...and this could be a great thing for USACi. Walk around the SQ hall at finals and get a list of the Manufacturer Teams...remember those manufacturers, and after Finals call each of those to send a rep to a meeting and revise the rule book. Let's give the manufacturers a hand in polishing something they would want to support. I'm not saying we should make radical changes, I'm saying we go down the book and let them and USACi R&E vote at the meeting. Right then...not later.

I'm bumping this again...I really think we need to have a meeting...I'm trying to be proactive here, I for one really feel that we should do an SQ only members meeting. This time at Finals 09. I know from judging Finals that the time for this just isn't there. But what if we called a members meeting at 8am Friday and then did pull-in immediately after. All that would mean is that the floor would have to be marked on Thurs. night. Or vice versa...do the meeting Thurs night and do Friday as scheduled.
I really feel if we got our core comeptitor group into the hall and discussed SQ issues only we could get done and out. You could do SPL at another time if at all. Neither crew wants to hear the others take on anything so why make the thing last hours on end.

Do you feel like your bashing your head against the wall? LOL sounds good but you might get more done just banging your head on the wall.... LOL it will listen better anyway.
