IMA BACK UO DARYAL HERE THIS IS THE SECOND BIG SHOW OF THE YEAR SO FAR WHERE THIS HAS HAPPEND.

SEEMS TO BE A DISCONNECT FROM THE INTENT OF THE OFFICE, AND THE ACTUALLY PLAYING GROUNDS OF THE COMPETITORS WHERE THEY ARE BEING ALLOWED TO RUN MANNED.

i think it was on the t.p.s. reports.

I think Im going to try to run manned at the next show I go to, just to see if they know what they are doing or not.

Maybe if they are not doing it right bring attention to it at the show instead of after the show.

thats kinda hard when i sat here on this forum and watched a video of it. So as you can see I wasnt there so it was hard to say anything.

And if the information has been put out by the office how about the directors act a little mor eprofessional and ensure things are being done correctly

ok i'm new to usaci.....what do you mean unmanned? guessing means controling from outside the vehicle? is this only in certain classes?

basically only one person in the vehicle. with the sensor on the opposite side kick. unmanned was used to describe a vehicle without mic monkeys. (a person who took up space around the kick to yield higher numbers)

A DIAGRAM IS WHAT WE NEED EXPLAINING OUR UNMANNED FORMAT BECAUSE IT IS CONFUSING AS HELL TO 99% OF THE PEOPLE OUT THERE. ITS NOT TOTALLY UNMANNED IT AALOWS THE OWNER AND THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE ONLY TO SIT IN THE VEHICLE DURING TESTING ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE MICROPHONE.

Good point. Maybe a diagram would help to show what "unmanned" means exactly.

1 person inside the car. He can sit in either the passenger or the drives seat. The microphone must be placed on the opposite side of the car from the person in the car.

Mic drivers means person passenger
mic passsenger then person drivers


mic left person right
mic right person left
in other words stay away from the mic!

does it require the owner to be the person in the car?

oh ok. i'd never done a spl like that. usually was just puttin mic on the lower passenger side windshield and just 1 person in the car
