Building a Bridge

What is the best way about going about making a bridge to house a tweeter in a coax position. What materials and tools would you use. Reason I ask I made some pretty simplistic kicks for a set of 5.25" Memphis Syncs and I am thinking about switching out for something that can get a tad bit brighter. I have to boost 3 db on the tweeter to get it where I like and to get it where it scores a 37 on an AC mic. Something I never had to do with my horns.

1/4" rod bent to go over driver and weld a mounting point for the tweeter to the rod. The rod is cool because it is very acoustically transparent...or you could do a mesh grill and mount the tweeter in the center of the grill for an easy way...like Kicker Resolutions did.

AHH makes sense. I called my buddy who has a cnc machine and it would not have been cheap. basically the time in drawing it up would be most of the cost then I would have had to do something with the grill.
