ok its time to take my 91 caprice wagon apart so I picked up a 1997 buick park avenue I'm building its gonna be a daily drivin street car but I would also like to get it some what competitive ....I'm waiting on the title lean to go threw but I'm reusing gear from the caprice along with other stuff
so far I have
kenwood head unit with 12v pre's
2 kicker 07cvr15"s
1 rockford power bd1000.1
2 capacitors
2 maybe 3 red autozone brand batteries (2brand new 1 used needs to be tested)
I also have enough extra 4 gauge wire, fuse, and distro blocks to do 2 runs of 4 gauge to the trunk
the buick also came with a nice quality custom built huge sealed box for 2 15"s in the trunk I was thinking of circle porting it as an experiment.
but my questions are:
are the CVR 15"s worth using to compete or should I sell them buy somthing else?
will I have any issues runing extra batteries on a stock alternator?
and does anyone know a good amount of cubic feet to run these cvrs ported? in my wagon they they have 8.5 cubic feet but that car is huge and I dont want to lose the whole trunk of the buick
