| hey guys im lookin to buy two 15" subs. I need two that have recones easy to get ahold of. my last woofers were re mt 15s. loved the performance, hated them falling apart all the time. I am used to daily driving about 155db so the woofers are going to get tortured all the time. I compete in outlaw and street beat. don't have my amps yet so open for suggestions | |

| the s.h.w. is more comparable to my old re mts, agreed
wrong the heaveyweight is better, and louder than the MT's
the s.h.w is a 4" coil and unless your sealed, and walled off with a ton of power well good luck.
the h.w is by far the best 15 out especially for the buck.

| how much power are you using to play music that loud daily.?.. i think its going to be rough to find a woofer period that can handle it none stop..id serch for somthing with 4inch coils and larger spiders... im guessing spiders and tinsel leads where the problem on the MT? | |

| what does well at finals..or wins a 30second street beat run...really has nothing to do with a woofer than needs to take 4kw daily dropping late night tip and jeezy all day everyday | |

| eh i think the hw is more comparable to the mt. the shw will take a ton more power. a ton more.
the hw is one of the best all around subs for competeing. works well in tiny boxes which is a huge plus in most usaci applications. depends on application. 3k-4k id roll with the elite spl v.2 3k -20k id go with the hw v.2. 25k and up id go shw

| as far as a 4in coil driver id go t3 audio tsns or pierce audio products 08 moab. or a cactus sounds mk1 or the rd shw. im not a fan of 4in coil subs with 8in spiders. though with the right designed spider it works well | |
