anyone know what the real power of a quantum 4000d is sounds like about 2000 tops the ones ive done 13.4 v just curious on what they really do... oh ya 1 ohm

IIRC, the Quantum 4000d's are 1500-1700w at ~15v.

I used a Craftsman clamp...they for for ~$100 new.
Hit a local pawn shop, we get them from time to time. At times, we have 2-3 nice Flukes up front in the case for cheap.
EDIT: In fact, i have a Wavetek ac40a in the case right now for $59...and a Fluke 333 for $89
