Steve don't fall for that. They drive 5 and 6 hrs. for a 1x drag show. They don't feel comfortable in an urban environment. They will never go to NYC.

Any of the more serious competitors around here are doing Drags Finals, not USACi.

This is the reason I'm not going to bother with points or wasting my time trying to make Finals. It's just too far and it's way too much money for gas, hotels and Finals entry fee's to bother.

Now the newer guys, they would never do NYC not even if it were a drag show. There are newer guys that will go anywhere for a single point drags show if they needed the points, but people are spread out so much and gas prices are a major issue for most. Some guys would be looking at $300-400 in gas to make a NYC show, it's not always worth it. USACi would be smart if they followed the example of Drags and had at least 2 locations for Finals, that would get a bigger turnout for sure. And about the USACi 3x, thats not what scared anyone away. From what I understand, it was made a 3X to make that $50 fee worth it for people to come out. The $50 fee was decided by Proline, not USACi. So be pissed at the guys at Proline for being greedy and wanting a $50 fee instead of the normal $25, not at USACi.

Yes Vic the SPL location sucked. Some people couldn't even get in the lane to compete. They were being blocked by other cars. Native barely made it to compete, and that was untill at the end of the show.

dB Drags 3X shows are usually $75, so a $50 fee for a USACi 3X show is a good price. It's just too bad that Mark had to make it a 3X in order to get people to accept the price. 420 did one or two USACi shows last year, but it was because there was a dB drags show close by the day before. And with USACi's classes being based on power almost everyone in 420 would be in the same class, so it's kinda pointless for them. Not to mention that drags Finals are in two places in the US, the closest being in Indiana.....thats a lot closer than Nebraska. USACi is fun to compete in, but Drags competes all over the world so when you take 1st place at World Finals it really means your #1 in the world, not just #1 in North America.

But calling it a fun show or a bad show is an opinion of it.

Steve, there is another reason why 420 doesn't do USACi. Bob does mod and Rooney does Super mod so they never compete against each other. And comparing USACi to Drag makes these guys go crazy. You are hated now for speaking the truth. Believe me, I know. Welcome to the club.

LOL again with the childish antics, will you ever grow up? What makes me a "coward" nate? The fact that I had someone build my wall? Im just wondering what your basing your assumption off of? Answer me this, did you or did you not at one point see about them building your wall? Ive done plenty of shows in the past that they havent been to, and Ive been to plenty of shows where they were. See, unlike you, I like to HAVE FUN. And not be negative throughout life. And "holding my hand?" Ask steve, he was throwing the show I went to a few weeks ago, was there any "hand-holding" Its just the same thing over and over with you. Your bi-polar or something man, maybe you have multiple personalities or something. I would say goodluck to you in the future, but as far as I know, no org has adopted a "sit on a speaker box" class
