As far as clamped power, IDK if it was 2200 or whatever, we are still new to this and to be honest, IDK how the hell to clamp an amp. All I know is that my brother and myself, along with plenty of help from Moon, Rod, Jimbo, Team Bigun, Hunter, the list goes on and on, have plenty of test hours, over a year in the build before our first show, and its proven in the number.

So if someone is doubting the number, protest Tiny. He will be at Austin Heatwave and finals. We have had record run after record run, inspections before them by Ralph, Jenissa, Darvell, Shane, and Sanman.

We've been at finals the last past 2 years, and as long as its not a ridiculous drive, we will be back this year. Bringing whatever # Tiny does.

BUT IF IT WAS IN DEED ONLY 6600 WATTS THEN YOU ARE THE BADDEST MOTHER fornicators TO EVER BUILD ANYTHING, AND THOUGH THIS WOULD BE A GREAT WAY TO SHUT SOME PEOPLE UP.

Nobody is questioning the number we've all seen it we know it's legit,

it's just that moonie has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to clamp power.

to do a 164 is gonna take anywhere from 15-18,000 watts, not the 7500 he is claiming.

maybe this will help put in in perspective.

me 161.2 7200 watts
me 162 13,200 watts (that was with the 5 year old juggs, it'd be higher with the dc's now)
danny b 160.4 6900 watts
evan 163.6 14,400 watts
mark brus 165 26,000 watts
sanman 164.9 ish 30,000+ watts
jimbo 164.9 ish 30,000+ watts


moonies claim on team tiny 164 on 7500 watts, as you can see it doesn't line up with any of these other chamipionship caliber cars, tiny would be miles ahead of everyone.

so to review nobody is saying anything is illegal or that any cheating is going on, we all know the number is being done legit, we just know it's a lot more than the 7500 watts moonie is claiming. heck if moonie can only get 7500 out of 3 d5's on caps i'd find me someone new to hook up my amps, because that's what everyone else is getting out of 1.

What voltage was that at?

watts = amp ac x volts ac

2488 watts with a rise of 2.86 would be;

29.5 AAC x 84.37 VAC = 2488.9

rise would be VAC / AAC or 84.37 / 29.5 = 2.86

starting at .35 that puts your rise at 8.1 which is abosolutely crazy but consistant with not giving it everything you got, as power increase rise goes down.

turn the volume knob to the right 12 clicks and report back.

Maybe your checking voltage in wrong place. Amps times volts on the output side of the amp= watts. Same numbers divided equals rise. Hats off to you if you are getting that out of 2400 watts. I saw the run at finals Legit is Legit numbers just dont add up.

So your telling me you got that amp to draw 814 amps (estimated and being generous with efficiency) of current or so through that 1/0 terminal?

Did you test with less batteries? say half and compare results?

MY BAD.....GOT A NUMBER WRONG.....37.1 X 67 = 2485.7.......WITH A RISE TO 1.8....MAY BAD...
