RMS power, 2 ohm mono 1200W x 1CH RMS power, 4 ohm mono 600W x 1CH

| remember to go by the highest rating and than divide it down. That is usaci rules whichever is the higher of the 2. Its the same deal with the sundown 4500, sundown rates it at 900 at 4 ohm but if you divide down that 4500 it comes out to 1225 at 4 ohm, and 2 can not be used in 601 to 1800. | |

| Why on earth would you guys \"Female dog\" about this amp when you let the Cow poopy the cactus pulled go through?
OP, Use the amp, everyone who tells you that you can't needs a reality check.

| What F3M4 said.......I caught something that shouldn't have happened a little too late, but meh. It's at least got a rating unlike some of the DD amps at 4ohms. | |

It has nothin to do with amp it is the rules. That's the problem now a days the more to push cause you don't like a rule the worse Usaci gets, we have rules that everybody else goes by way start changing them cause it doesn't fit or you don't see the relevance of it? Next it won't matter to you if his/her box is a inch to tall or little past the b-pillars cause of the sub surrounds but at least his box isn't. We have rules to go by once they stop to matter where does it end.....

| One of my 2500s was clamped at 2320w @ 1.9 ohm with a nominal load of 1 ohm. Once I get both in strapped at 1 ohm I'll have clamped results. I expect roughly 3k @ 1 ohm from these amps. | |

| And YET AGAIN 4ohm ratings come back to bite us in the ass.
NO AMP ON THE MARKET PRODUCES 1/2 RATED POWER WHEN YOU DOUBLE THE LOAD!!!!!
Plain and simple. The equation used in USACi only works in a PERFECT WORLD....well damit, we don't have a perfect world.
Simply because NO AMP is 100% efficient.
EDIT:
So...USACI (Ralph), what IS the sundown 2.5k rated @ 4ohm?

| thats all im sayin i agree i think it should be allowed but then it comes down to they arent supporting usaci if they were then would just send 1 to test and it would be legal no matter what but i doubt they do. i do agree cannaan the rules are flawed but u think changing it is gonna matter then we just get 1 ohm ratings on amps that do twice that at .25 since its not a rated # we r back in the same boat! | |

| 4 ohm is 625. So nope
actually if im not mistaken you need to go by the companies suggested 4 ohm rating, and if you dont beleive it you need to protest it to have it changed.
also whats not know is the voltage used to test this amplifier at i just looked at the website, and sent it to jenissa it doesnt list the voltage but does state everything else
let me guess another non car audio person went to a show and got his fornicating ass handed to him so he decided to complain does that sound about right ????

fornicating pussies It actually, clamped close to a D5 in my app, I need to wire down to see what happens, but I believe its a viable option for 0-600.

| It wouldn't be a BAD choice if it fell within the 4 ohm rating. | |
