What subs DD vs AQ

I thought I had decided on the dd 3512's dual 2's but now I see Audioque has the HDC3 (Heavy Duty) Series – Copper Coils.
I have read the AdHDC3 is better than the DD3512 but not better than the DD9512. So what does everyoner think AQ VS DD

DD uses coils from precision econowind inc.

DD will win....but for that price, you can find something thatll be darn close for cheaper haha

I have an HD3 (old model) and my 9512 absolutely SMOKES it on the meter. 2+ dB difference.

Though I will say the HD3 has some old parts in it.

But the F motor is the best motor I've ever used, regardless of the power level. It hasn't been beaten at 500 watts nor 4000 watts.

And the above people are correct when they say DD uses american coils and the stock (copper) coils on the AQ are chinese. DD uses precision econowind, though their new stuff is totally different from the parts they used last year. Spiders and coils.

However the SB4 only won by .5. 8 Crossfire vs 4 Digital Designs......hmmmmmm. Which the van shouldn't have been in sb4 but that is another story. So SB4 was DD.

Sb3 was DC.

you guys might want to get the facts strait. im talk about loudest EVER IN SB NOT THIS YEAR. it might be dd in sb4, but i still seen crossfire on the top of the leader board.

Yep aq=dd builds them and im sure had a lot to do in designing them so in a way dd still wins.

OK I have made my choice, I am going with 4- 9512 daul 2's running (series/parallel) = 1 ohm load. I have an 250a/160 idle alt. Anyone have any recommedations on how many batteries for my bank. I want to use northstar batts. ????????????????? NSB 90's NSB 125's???????????

Good choice. What amps??? I use the nsb 90's and couldnt be happier.
