our 98 astro ,,,the high fan does not work and also no power to ac compressor...clutch will engage if i power it from batt but no power in ac position on dial . what ya think ... fuses and relays all seem to be good... just the switch maybe

The blower fan doesnt work on high? but other speeds do work? and on the compressor not engaging, have to ask but is the system fully charged with refrigerant? check for power on your low side switch. if it doesnt have power when ur ac is on then ur compressor will not come on. I am a technician for a living, so Feel free to ask any questions I'll be glad to help you bro

speed 1-2-3 work fine,, speed 4 dont work . and as for fully charged probably not we just got the van

We've had a problem with the fan switch on the dash burning out.

if those three speeds work and high doesnt I would look more at the switch, like xfl said! and as for the compressor not engaging, did you check for power on that pressure switch?
