flash drives/mp3's versus cds

haven't tested it yet but i will tomorrow was wondering what are you guys takes on this if you have tried it?

I'm sure it depends on the quality of the rip, some songs u download aren't very good quality.

and alot of those songs can be manipulated

Depends on the bitrate, if your in the 320+kb/sec range then the difference should only be noticeable on the nicest of systems. No matter what your still better off ripping in a lossless format and converting on the fly as you have the need. WMA can be encoded lossless, and most players that will play mp3 will play wma. A format like flac is also lossless but not as compatible, the advantage of flac is the lossless is at a lower bitrate than wma.

i love it when a sq guy answer me questions like this it makes some since however. i think i should switch an run sq or streetq anyway since i am the only streetbeater around well with the excpetion of some of them down south la boi's

I would believe you if you told me you actually tried this.

try it . get a old album meter it . then get same song on cd and the album will be louder, but ya gotta have record player out side the car ...lol
