y? ppl scared of lower scores...... it would be nice to see how much change it's been (spl score) over the last 2 decades...... you cowards need to man up or shutup bout these scores until everyone is essentially equal

whats all the name calling about ??? who are you speaking to ? adding a huge variety of music choices only makes it harder to get louder .music choice is another hurtle in competition . another curveball . one and only one song choice like flash dance was boring . car audio thank god has evolved since the 1980's .

| i saw all the complaining about gainin or losing Db..... i here some competitors cry that this person is cheating and that person is cheatin..... lets get on one platform.... flashdance or not... but one platform........ and if car audio has evolved since the 80's ......how much in reference to spl..... that was my point and further more i wasn't name callin BUDDY! | |

| I think its a great idea! 1 class w/ flashdance. The finals trophy can be something funny/stupid but yet worth receiving. make it to where you can track up anywhere in the song you want for your 30 second average. You must wear legwarmers when you compet! |

| If you're going to use Flashdance, it needs to be in a separate category. Street Beat is for people that want to use particular music of their choosing, adding to the fun of competition.
Personally, I like the idea of bring it back as a "retro" competition. See how you stack up against the original competitors.

| I was friends with Mike Arnold, 1991 & 1992 Champ in USAC and TOW.
He had a Chevy dually with the back wall cut out. 24 15" Kicker Comps, powered by 6 Orion HCCA 2100's. That's 1600w per amp at 1 ohm, so he had around 10,000 watts.
Best I saw him do was like 153 on Flashdance. He also had TV monitors and a VCR in it, and he could do over 140 with a scene from Top Gun.
I think that vehicle could still compete today, although I believe a 2008 competitor would use less subs and port them.

| I think so. I know it was positioned on the dash and people were usually humbled when they did it for the first time. | |
