Not weird.....with the ported box I could do 160.5 @ 44hz with 12000 watts.....this box at 35hz and too big sealed chamber did 158.7 with 7700 watts....couldnt turn it up because ran out of xmax

|
the shoulda woulda were exactly that.. who gives a Dung Pile how much clamped power he has? or how many batteries.. you can say you meant whatever you want by your questions.. but we and everyone else damn well know your hunting for a reason to say " [u]oh thats why his daily driver 35hz tuned box is almost as loud as my trailer queen thats needed a throwout bearing forever now "
So because i brought it on a trailer its supposed to be a one note wonder? Thats funny since its a street beater also and i demoed all afternoon after my run.You want me to bring a 158 to finals and get beat by 8 dbs? So SB3 gonna have a 166 this year? You know nothing about my build or what i'm doing with it what it has or can do!That being said if you wanna come plat in SB3 i welcome the challenge. As far as me asking the questions its no different then him asking about my setup at Siknic just wondering what he had.If people didn't want to know what anybody had then whats the point of doing any of it?

| who the fuk is side stepping i said you bought a fuking van that was loud true? you said you did some changes thats great point is i said you bought one already built as far as mod it is what it is if i wanna ask a question i will. SB is what i am concerned with if i wanted to focus on mod i would have an astro built like every other one out there.I would hope you would build to win in sb if not its a waste of time. You talk like you got all the skillz i 'm saying lets see them, oh wait astros are not to hard to get kinda loud are they? Come on build a SB for scrapin or siknic even so you can have TIME TO TEST AND TUNE i wanna see them skillz | |

| You kids are funny! LOL. I just want to add that just like a burp vehicle, whether its a van or CRX, SB is a science as well. You have to find what that vehicle likes and exploit it to get every tenth out of it. Regardless of what your goals are, its all about testing, tuning, and tweeking and neither class is easy to win. There's not one person who's ever won at finals that'll say it was easy for them to win. I'm sure you'll see the skills Alan has whether he shows you this year or next or whenever. Also keep in mind he did help build a CRX that placed second last year as well so he doesn't only build vans. | |

| JD with your logic, if someone bought your truck, made it louder with a rebuild, the person that bought it and rebuilt it would have a "bought not built" vehicle.
your argument could be that it has not won any championships. it has won some shows, so to the people that are 10 db behind you, could say that the person that bought it purchased a bought not built vehicle.
Lets go a step futher, say Kumar sold you his van for 20k, and by some miracle you find 2 more dbs in it with a rebuild with lots of blood sweat and tears. Well man with your logic, you have a bought not built vehicle.
I guess my question for you is do you still stand by your comments as they were stated?

| ill never win..its really useless because it wasent 100% gutted and rebuilt.. im sorry we all arent on JDs budget and afford to re build the exact same enclosure we just ripped it.. my astro was probly close to 5db over the original builder. i worked hand in hand with the old owner of that van since 2004, which is how i got it for free.. as a thanks for my help i dont even know why im doing this .. im bigger than this and have nothing more to proove to one hating dip Dung Pile.. | |

Nevermind that there were a few unorthodox methods that were used to put the enclosure together. Nevermind that you took time to come up the weekend before finals and we spent our time rebuilding (hell no teammate ever made the effort to do that). Nevermind you spent time on the phone with me. Nevermind that you arranged for recones to get to finals and you reconed those drivers there. Nevermind that some friends up in Arkansas lent a hand for a few last minute touches. As far as your rebuild i guess i didn't realize what all you had done as far as changes so i will say i'm sorry for putting it that way or even bringing it up.As far as a big budget i run lower line equipment and have 4 batts so no i am living like the rest of most on here hell i gotta hide money from my wife to sneak 2 more batts. The skillz comment was more of a motivator cause i know you are doing trunk. One last thing i'm no small fish man i been around for a while in other orgs maybe it's been a while but i know what it's like to be around the top and how to build. To make this long Dung Pile short if you was affended im sorry just don't like when jumped on for asking a question.
